Just got my new binder from love boat today:
high performance velcro juya short

I put it on and I think its too big :/
The sizing chart says im a L, so I ordered a M cause I like a tight fit..but idk if im not wearing it right or what but it feels super loose and idk if its just me being used to the tritop or im not putting it on correctly..
Any suggestions?
I don't want to have to return it, im out of $$ for return shipping :|...
I've never worn a velcro binder lol.

Also I got the goodvibes sailor pack, and another ftm stud from thetransitionalmale with 2 buds. So I officially have 3 packers, 2 are stp(I haven't converted the gv packer yet).

Id say my basic boxer show it from andrew christian work best. I would not suggest the flexsoft or flashback showits.

So overall, so far so good. The GV might be too big for my taste but we will see as time goes by. Also the binder IS very very soft and comfy as said before.

Does the binder flatten you? because if it does I would say it's not worth returning if it's comfortable and effective (I've never had a velcro binder so I can't say much). You said you bought another ftm stud so I assume that means you like it :) is it a good stp? Also what don't you like about the flexsoft? (I looked at the flashback so I see why not to get it)

Idk if it flattens me, it seems flat to me..except at the top. Bud idk I need someone to look and tell me.

Yes I rly like the ftm stud, it works great as an stp for me.

The flexsoft is too thin, it is very soft but too thin. My junk was like not being held right lol, flopping all over. :/

@kvall,
Yeah I took it off and put it as tight as possible, u can tell in my chest that its tight but it doesn't feel tight to me..maybe im just used to the "uncomfortableness" of the tritop?

I think it looks really good actually, and if its comfortable, all the better. It appears pretty flat, but not too flat (because sometimes I've seen binders that make chests seem abnormally flat) but thats good because it kinda also makes it look like there are some muscles there. :)

haha, i actually thought the first top and bottom row of pictures belonged together :D so it doesn't seem to make a huge difference. i exchanged a binder from loveboat once for the smaller size, it was an extra 12 euros for me sending it back and them sending out the right size.

Do you have a small chest? I remember when i got that same binder i wasn't sure if it's too large or maybe the shoulder straps are too long because it didn't flatten me at the top (my chest is almost at the same level as my armpits). so i sewed the shoulder straps to be 1.5 inches shorter and now it fits me fine. or else you could remove the section of the velcro that's in the back and sew it back on a little further back i guess.

In your comparison shots, which side is which binder?

Thanks, I hope to look like I have pecs instead of smashed boobs or boobs :) cause im not one of those skinny guys so a flat flat chest wouldn't look right.

Emil,
I ended up keeping it. And I still think I should've gotten a Small instead of the Medium. But I guess it'll do for now, its very very very comfortable. I wore it 3 days and 2 nights straight(besides showering)..and it didn't even bother me or irritate my skin or effect my breathing..
And no, I don't have a small chest. I have a big chest, well on one side :( so it kind of fits weird. But yeah im having trouble with the top on both the Tritop and the Juya. Im not very good at sewing lol so I don't wanna ruin my binder. :/

Yes. I think it looks a little flatter too, even though I think it fits me big.
Yeah! Which one did you get?

No, actually it looks really natural, both ways. But the left does look more effective. On the right, I think the binding might appear a bit more obvious, but of course, we're all a bit more focused on it then someone you may encounter on the street. I'm totally jealous that it looks so natural on you, I fear I won't have the same results.

That looks really good!  Can I ask (or did I miss it?) about what cup size you are?  I'm leaning towards a loveboat for my next binder but I'm a DD and there just aren't many larger reviews out there.  LMK :)

Have you seen this? http://www.lesloveboat.com/blog/?cat=50&paged=1 . I've found that the O-Neck Velcro Long Binder is probably the best for the larger men, because the seams are so high it prevents that "cleavage" issue, if you will, with larger chested guys.

the o-neck sucks-- it has very low binding strength, i look no flatter than in a regular sports bra when wearing it :( that said, i have a small cup size so it would probably be even less effective on larger chested guys. i honestly think they only gave it a four star rating because it's pricey and they wanna sell it.

Oi, so disappointing. I can't say whether thats true or not, because I don't currently own a binder, but it seems very discouraging for  C-D-DD sized guys. All the models aren't usually well endowed in the chest department anyway.

Are there any larger guys that have had complete sucessful and comfortable binding?

umm i got the cheapest one, Jersey Mesh Velcro Short Binder-Black.

can i ask you a possibly triggering question?  because the binder is more loose fitting, does it still control bounce?  Like if you were walking down stairs, can you feel them bounce under the binder? I hope not cause that feeling is not good for me.

Eh, I think I'm around C-D size, I have a lot of trouble calculating in. (I've tried multiple times, and I think gotten answers ranging from C to DD...)
Anyway, I've got a small Tri-Top that works pretty well for me. It's the only binder I've ever owned, so I can't really compare with other ones, though. I wouldn't say it gets me as flat as Femboy looks in his pictures, but it's hard for me to judge since I think just tend to be very critical of myself. All in all I'd say it does do a good job for me, and it's not hell to wear.
