Hey, just wondering if any of you guys have tips on getting a binder off with a limited amount of stretching? I have a feeling I'm wearing mine out faster by the way I take them off...I have a tri-top if that helps any.

How are you taking it off?

I'm sticking one arm down through it and then slipping it off over my head when it's out. This is a quick method which is great, but it stretches the middle out quite a bit when I do it.

I cross my arms and grab the bottom, pulling it up and over my head.  It can be a bit of a pain, but it doesn't have the extra stretching at least.

Me too.  No stretching here.

I'll try it that way then. Sounds like it would hurt you shoulders though...

I do the same thing you do with the tri-top, Espenoah. I think it stretches the binder a little, but I don't have a choice. I can't take it off with Lee's method (I have broader shoulders and don't have full range of motion in one of my arms).

If someone else helps me take it off, I can do Lee's way (arms over your head) with limited discomfort. But who has that available all the time?

Also, if you're close to able to do Lee's method, if you wear something underneath like a rash guard or underarmour heatgear shirt, it makes it easier to slide the binder off with any method.

Yeah, I have broad shoulders too. That and I'm just not a very flexible person...so I think it will probably hurt to take it off that way. >.> I'll try it now though, since I'm taking it off anyway...

...

So yeah, that hurt a bit there...but it felt good to crack my shoulders. XD And barely any stretching!
Maybe if someone else had any other suggestions without it hurting, that would benefit. Let's see how many creative ways we can take off a binder. XD

I would totally do this, except I absolutely HATE the feeling of something underneath a binder. That's probably just me... >.>

Yeah I do the crossed arms thing too, the only time it hurts is when I have really sore arm muscles, like now. Ow. But then, I generally have pretty flexible arms, when they're functioning properly.
