I do the same thing you do with the tri-top, Espenoah. I think it stretches the binder a little, but I don't have a choice. I can't take it off with Lee's method (I have broader shoulders and don't have full range of motion in one of my arms).
If someone else helps me take it off, I can do Lee's way (arms over your head) with limited discomfort. But who has that available all the time?
Also, if you're close to able to do Lee's method, if you wear something underneath like a rash guard or underarmour heatgear shirt, it makes it easier to slide the binder off with any method.
