Inside, I feel some sadness, that I wasn't born in the 80s or 90s. This place would have been so good if I'd had it while growing up. I know I could have done so much more with my life.

If it helps, know that those of us who are younger appreciate the fact that there are so many more experienced people on this site.  It's great being able to talk with people who have a whole lifetime of knowledge behind them.  You all are helping us get a head start, and I thank you for that.

Hi Susan

You really did something remarkable.
You brought people together from all over the world.
They did'n't make it that far in the UN, did they?
Cindy did find the right words to open this topic and I can only agree with her.
you're amazing

a superlong big hug for providing friendships

I'd like to throw in a few words as well. Before I found this site I felt like I was a monster and completely alone in the world. That's all changed now thanks to Susan and everyone here who has ever posted their story or words of support, and it's done a lot of good for me.
Suffice it to say, I owe you more than just a few words of thanks.

agreed!

it's the fact that there are people, generations before us, who have gone though all of this before that not only makes this site possible, but also gives the younger generation a beacon of hope and guidance though what would otherwise likely be a very lonely and confusing time.

thank you to Susan and all the other people here, too, for sharing so much of themselves.

I came to Susan's ,  a closet transsexual on an analytical quest to find more information about transgender-ism. Instead I found an enormous amount of love, compassion and friendship.

When I came here I had been in the closet for over forty years. I had resigned myself to stay there for many many more years. I can honestly say, without regret, if it were not for Susan's and all the staff here I would not be where I am today. Out to everyone I know and full-time for a couple months now.
THANK YOU to Susan's and the wonderful staff !!!

Lots of hugs and best wishes for your new year, Roxy

Susan,
I am glad Cindy started this thread. I have thought the exact same thing. We should be thankful to you for this site. I have learned so much about being transgender here. Everyone is so helpful, kind and informative. I feel blessed to be treated so kindly and included.

Thank you!!!!

Many hugs.

This has got to be the absolute most informative forum and helpful site I have ever come across. I have seen nearly every related site on the internet at one point or another. To echo the sentiments of many others, I thank you from my heart for providing this to the community and to the planet. This is the only forum that I have ever felt motivated to post to, much less spend hours reading. Many many many thanks! =)
