Is masturbation dangerous for pre-ops on HRT?

I'm just wondering, masturbating reduces or triggers the rush of male hormones in the body? Is it good/bad/neutral to masturbate while on HRT (Estrogen+T & DHT blockers)?

It's nothing. Masturbate all you want or don't masturbate at all - it won't make any significant difference.

It's a normal body function. If you don't do it for a while, it might be painful when you do. That's normal. Some suggest that masturbating can increase the probability that you'll be able to orgasm after SRS. Bottom line, don't worry about it, but if you do worry, then ask your doctor.

I'm sorry, but really?  Since when has masturbation been dangerous?  Aren't there studies proving the benefits of masturbation...

Well, masturbating while attempting to cross the Grand Canyon on a high wire might be considered dangerous, as is masturbating into the mouth of a tiger. Other than that I think that it's fine!

Ok, I see your point.  However I'm very picky with my dangerous masturbating sessions...I mean crossing the Grand Canyon WHILE masturbating into the mouth of an albino liger.

Well you know, men have been known to masturbate with the aid of hoover, steel pipe & I think I read once swimming pool water in/outtake hole, and ending up in aid of medics / firefighters. So you might want to afford those too. ;)

I blame this on a lack of education in basic human physiology.  When there is too much pressure on the erectile tissue, the blood cannot circulate.  This causes the tissue to swell, which puts even more pressure on the object putting pressure on the tissue in the first place.  The end result is a very difficult and embarrassing explanation that most certainly will not fool the emergency medics.

From time to time I hear this question being asked. Women are concerned that they will excrete their estrogen when they ejaculate. Or they are concerned that ejaculating will induce testosterone iproduction. Endocronologically I don't feel that these concerns have merit.

I will admit though that when I was pre op, that the act of masturbating was angst producing, due to my gender dysphoria.

I don't know about excreting estrogen, but I find it unlikely.  If anything, the low quantity of ejaculate would lead us to assume that losing estrogen via ejaculation would be less of a concern than losing estrogen through urine.  Then again, you know what they say about assumptions...

As far as ejaculation inducing testosterone production, there isn't any science that I know of that would support that conclusion.

YES!
very dangerous, you could go blind.  :o

Didn't your Mother tell you! ;D

I do it out of necessity for pleasure very rarely.

I do it mostly because I don't want the little thing shriveling up, I still need it for better things down the road.

Anyways it takes FOREVER to climax but, when I do ITS WORTH IT :o

I dont know if it is dangerous. But since I started spironolactone almost a month and a half now, I never had the feeling that I want to do it. Lolz . .I mean, it's not a part of my stuff now. I dont even get hard at all.

Chaffing. ...and all that friction could start a fire, too. How do you think they came up with the idea of starting a fire by "rubbing two sticks together"?

I seem to be immune to that effect, as my skin is smooth enough that it doesn't cause much friction.

Also, you won't start a friction fire by masturbating.  Human skin isn't very flammable.  You would cause yourself very painful friction burns before you could build up enough heat to ignite anything.
