Six months HRT today, what a journey

Today marks six months on Hormone Replacement Therapy for me. When I took my first pill six months ago I thought I knew what the effects would be, but I didn't. The changes have been much more profound than simply "curves." The heart, mind and soul of Maia, of ME, have been able to dance and enjoy the sunlight. I have known the joy of being me.

This is the 36 month that I have been on HRT.  For me, there was not much curves.  But I am a 38B.  Just wait and see what happens in the next six months.

Thanks Janet! I can't wait. This morning I woke up and felt more, I don't know, womanly I guess is the word? I feel like my body has gone into another active cycle of changes. Things had been kind of static lately.

OMG, Melody, that is SO beautiful, it made me tear up (of course the 'mones probably augmented that effect a little, lol).  I well remember when I looked at my ticker and saw that it had been six months since I had begun my journey.  It sure didn't FEEL like that long!  I imagine for you these past six months must also seem, in retrospect, to have been much shorter.  I think the fact that SO much is going on has something to do with that!  Congratulations, sweetheart.  I've only been on them a week, and I'm noticing subtle things already.  Maybe it's all in my head, but still...

@Colleen: It seems fast until I reflect on all the things that have happened since October 6th of last year. Then it seem like a century ago! Yes, tears likely mean the hormones are likely already having their effect. Welcome to womanhood!
