Kia Ora All!
::)Well I thought I had better introduce my 'self'...I live down under or if you like on top...In a far off [and far out] land called Aotearoa, [for those who don't understand the Maori language=New Zealand]
::)I can't say I knew from the word go that I was meant to be female, I just didn't feel totally comfortable as a male... However at 19, I had my first real inclining of my true self whilst visiting Singapore[I spent my time there with the local transgender community] but guilt and fear kept it at bay...
::)In my early twenties the usual suicide attempt and again in my late thirties, both times I was hospitalised and had my stomach pumped...I did a couple of stints in psyche wards[this was also in my twenties] and was eventually prescribed Valium[the gender neutraliser] and told I would be on it for the rest of my 'male' life...It took another twenty odd years, before I broke free of my cocoon and completed my metamorphosis-in more ways than one...

::)I'm 'post' everything, that is free from 'all' the mundane hang ups that tend to plague people, especially trans-people...I was born with the same condition that most of you here suffer or suffered from... However I commenced my cure/medicine back in 1997/7, in 2000/1 I was more or less cured and living full time... In 2005 I had some corrective surgery[icing on the cake, thanks to government funding] to remove the foreign body that had continually reminded me of the congenital condition I was born with...
BTW, the greeting "
Kia Ora" is Maori for
Hi, goodbye, thanks,
"
Metta" is a Pali word, it was the language spoken at the time of the Buddha- which roughly translated means "
Loving Kindness" [I'm also a student/practitioner of Gautama Siddhartha's teachings]

And
Zenda is just my forum name and no doubt others here may know of me from another forum,...If so "
Kia Ora !"
"Our problem is that inside us there's a mind going, "Impossible, impossible, impossible. I can't, I can't, I can't." We have to banish that mind from this solar system. Anything is possible; everything is possible. Sometimes you feel that your dreams are impossible, but they're not. Human beings have great potential; they can do anything. The power of the mind is incredible, limitless!" Lama Yeshe Metta Zenda
