To all the mothers,

who may be fathers,

who may be sisters,

brothers or others

To all those selfless,

Carrying and fearless

Supportive, cuddling

Huggers and kissers

To all the mothers,

Who think their child

is made of parsley, sage,

rosemary and thyme

To all the mothers,

Who know just best

Who is the worthy

And whom to test

Who cleaned you face

With spit and slime

Who mended booboos

And made key lime pie

Laughed at your birthdays

Laughed at your jokes

Laughed at your friends

Girlfriend and her folks

To all the mothers

Without whom

This world most definitely

Would go to doom

Thank you, Inna. Happy Mothers Day to you too!
I posted a "Happy Mothers Day" in the "General Discussion" but it never made it to the "unread post/new post." I am glad yours made it.

None of my real and adopted children said or give me anything thing, not that expected but still hurts!

I am going to clean the back yard, shade a few tears, and then I will go by myself to movie.

Oh, Kate, what you have done for your children is grand, they are enjoying life in all its ups and downs, but that is a gift Mother or parent can give, gift of life, love, and friendship. As I often say the only thing we truly posses is our ability to share in love, thats all, we don't even posses love it self, it is like a gentle wind caressing, swaying trees in a dance, but invisible otherwise untrappable, however powerful beyond belief. Your love lives in them, and that is a gift to know! So if you must do shed the tear, but know of what you have done did not happen in vain.
All my love, Inna.

Yes, Happy Mother's Day to all the natural mothers, the adoptive mothers, the natural fathers now female, the adoptive fathers now female. A special Mother's Day greeting to the birth males who are now or transitioning to becoming female. It takes a special person to be a mother - a good mother at least - and it takes a special, special person to want to be a mother. A particular greeting to those that want to be a mother, but can't. We share something special not available to those that can by the accident of their own birth.

Thank You Inna.  That was beautiful.  I, of course, have not heard from my children ether today or on Fathers Day.

I think this thread needs a little joy in it so I will share my story with you all...
I had to work on mother's day and on my way to leave I had trouble opening my door. This has never happened and I was very cautious and curious. When my door opened I was very surprised to see a large bag hanging off my door handle. Inside was a very large picture of my son and a card that read "Happy mothers day, mum <3 Jaimisen (my son) with his foot prints inside. I instantly cryed.
You all deserve praise, if you get it or not.
