My Girl - Lovely little movie, i didn't care for the ending but i think it's a great movie nontheless.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain, I like watchin' the puddles gather rain.

Despite all my rage, I'm still just a rat in a cage

I watched Boat Trip the other night, I thought it was really funny.

The Conjuring: I enjoyed it way more than I thought I would. Nice little throw back horror film. 8/10

We're The Millers: Fun little film with a couple good laughs. 7/10

I just got finished watching Gun Hill Road staring Harmony Santana. I'll give it a 8.5/10. Its about a teen (who happens to be male to female)  while struggling with her gender identity has her transphobic father return home after a lenghty prison term. There are a few scenes that might trigger some people. (self medicating scene was hard to watch) This was Harmony's first film and she was absolutely phenomenal in it. But then her true life story was not far off from the script.

The found footage scenes in that were awesome.

Today I think I'm going to sit down and check out "World War Z" while my gf isn't home. She hates zombie films, lol.

Then this weekend going to watch "The Great Gatsby" with her...I will probably struggle to get through that myself.

Laurence Anyways

Good, but slow. Love the Montréalais code-shifting.

Watched "Breakfast on Pluto" the other night.

Trans-themed? Yes.
Identify with the character? Umm, no.

I saw Gravity at IMAX in 3D.

I liked it, though space scares the crap out of me, I could never be an astronaut!

In theatres?
Space Junk at the Museum of Science and Industry in Chicago.
If that doesn't count, Avengers 2.
On TV or video or whatever? Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail.
I'm not much of a movie watcher.
Hey, you've reached Lauren's signature! If you have any questions, want to talk, or just need a shoulder to cry on, leave me a message, and I'll get back to you.

I watched Argo in the bathtub last night. It was pretty good, but I kept thinking of Azar Nafisi while watching it (she wrote Reading Lolitta in Tehran).
