         Don't know how many variations I've seen of the super dude, but thought it was good and should have a sequel.

I think this version is most likely the second best version I've seen to date. It went into a bit more detail than the others, but left out the main parts that made superman, super-MAN

I thought the version with Steve Reeves was good, sad how he ended up in life and equally sad how Margot Kidder, his Lois Lane's life went down hill. I'm kind of a video junkie and it seems to me that there is an awful lot of crap on the video rental market these days.

I agree that the video market is going somewhat downhill and in a hurry, but one movie that I can't stop watching over and over is Pacific Rim. I remember when I first saw the previews, they didn't really make sense and eventually after 2 or 3 more previews I got the sense "This movie is going to suck hard", but when I watched it I was thoroughly jacked up wishing I could drive a suit like that. It was like Gundam brought to Live Action and done right. I was amazed and I love the film.

Pacific Rim seems interesting, I was a big fan of Gundam as a kid.

I seen Milk last night, if you haven't seen it, it's about Harvey Milk who was a gay man that became a leader in the political world for gay and civil rights.

It was good, def worth watching and kinda reconfirmed a lot of things I thought about discrimination.

Just finished watching the Hunger Games, because I am being taken to see the sequel in about half an hour. I enjoyed the retro-futurism, but not the fashion style of the people in the Capital.

There's a reason behind why the "Capitalists" wear such outrageous clothing while the "peasants" wear what clothing is available. The entire movie is a message, maybe a warning. Watch it again but this time don't listen to the story, instead look at what one group is doing to another, and then compare it to how U.S. society is turning into.

Tried watching "The Cement Garden" and gave up took three sittings to finish it. Downright disturbing. 

For the uninitiated, it's about teen brother-sister incest, parental death, and is set in perhaps the bleakest post-industrial environment I've ever seen. It's kitchen sink at it's absolute darkest.

Went and saw 'Hunger Games: Catching Fire' this afternoon.

Spent much of this two and a half hour span thinking / feeling, 'I wish I was Jennifer Lawrence.'

My girlfriend and I saw Blue is the Warmest Color earlier this week. French film with English subtitles. A coming of age/romance movie. It was such a great movie, and I think many people here would love it as much as I did.

My Dad was watching The Birdcage last night with Robin Williams, which may have been the only reason he was watching it because he usually doesn't watch um "those kind" of movies.

It's about a gay couple that owns a drag night club.

But I got to thinking," hmmm does he know or at least think he knows something about me?" So I sat down and watched the rest of it, and I guess I'am still not sure if he does but he could be waiting for me to say something about it.

OMG funniest part of the movie, they have company over for dinner and one of the women looks at the plate and says, "It looks like two boys playing leap frog" hahaha!

Two movies I saw today.

2Guns was awesomely funny and I loved it and I will watch it a million times.

50-50 was a very inspiring movie. If there is any insane person out there who actually reads the crap I write, then the post I just made was inspired from this movie.

Agreed fully. I loved the soundtrack though. Unfortunately for you they are already filming the 4th movie. Lets hope they don't screw this one up. The 1st and 2nd were good, but the 3rd almost derailed the Marvel train.

While I haven't seen Thor 2 yet, I think Marvel Studios' movies have been getting worse since they brought Joss Whedon on board.

I saw it today and I agree.  I really liked the pacing; it never rushed itself, and all the storytelling was built on lots and lots of character stuff.  It also had a no-bullsh*t kind of mood, very serious with very large stakes with the civil war a-brewing, but never theatrical about it.  It let the characters carry all of that, and give you the plot - I mean this as opposed to action-driven films that sweep the characters along with the plot.  The writing was excellent, it made sense, it was believable, and it was interesting to look at, a nice big window into the story.  Production value overall very high.  As someone who read the books I liked it a lot.

Liam, you will have to become Susan's movie reviewer. Now I feel compelled to see it for sure!
