I caught a great double feature a couple weeks ago.

Wow! 'Brooklyn' was fabulous.  Tearjerker ending as the story went full-circle.

Rose sponsored her sister Elish to travel from their impoverished Irish town to Brooklyn for a job and bookkeeping college.

Elish's boat ride and arrival are reminiscent of young Vito in 'Godfather - 2'.

A stranger originally from Ireland and now returning 'home' to Brooklyn befriends Elish during their Atlantic crossing.

Elish resides at an all-female boarding-room house; two house-mates are desperate husband-hunters, another is a clinging wallflower.  Elish meets a cute Italian man at an Irish mixer.  She is uncertain if she 'loves' him; yes, she does and they marry in 'stealth' [(:-)].

Rose dies suddenly.  Elish returns to her Irish hometown and encounters pressure to stay at Ireland - Rose's employer, a friend getting married, an old boyfriend who wants to woo Elish.  A nosey Irish old maid threatens Elish with exposure of her marriage.

'Home is home' -  Elish realises 'home' is home with her husband.

Elish befriends an Irish woman travelling to America - the cycle resumes.

Next was 'Suffragette' - excellent!  About the British Suffragettes.

Yesterday I saw, "The Good Dinosaur". I wasn't too pleased, and I had somewhat low expectations, but I love Disney and Pixar, so I had to see it. It's probably at the bottom of the Pixar list for me, and that includes Cars 2.

I saw the new Star Wars movie today. I really enjoyed it, lots of great action, moments and characters. My only complaint was that by the end it felt like an unfinished story in the way that Empire Strikes Back did...sure it's part of a trilogy but it left me hanging too much. Oh well, only 18 months or so until the next one!

I did the Star Wars trek today
Much better than expected. CGI seems to have been limited unlike previous movies where it ruined them
They took a leaf out of the effects for interstellar and looked good.

I was disappointed that there was no Darth Vader cameo.
RD2D a father? Fancy that. ;)
So long and thanks for all the fish

Yeah, it was a fun and engaging movie. I really didn't want it to end when it did.

I saw Star Wars on Sunday and really had a great time.  Unlike the sequel Star Wars this was true to the original I saw in 1977.

Long time Star Wars fan.  Clones wars ok. Saw ep 7 yesterday.  JJ Abrams is a hack and has no original thoughts.

If you are a solid fan, you'll see it, but go in not expecting anything and you'll probably enjoy.  Can't say more without spoiling.

Watched Jack Frost while snuggled with a friend against the blustery cold on Sea Cup.

Seeing Star Wars with my friends on Sunday!
