Footloose, then twenty minutes later saw In Time. Both were good. Right now I'm watching Ultraviolet.

La Jetée: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0056119/

Great and very weird film. Only animated part is when the sleeping girl opens her eyes. Still not sure whether I imagined that. Wonderfully stylish.

The last movie I saw was Pariah, hosted or covered or whatever by the local transmale group. It was really well made, moving and believable.

I've always wanted to live in a neighborhood with you.

So let's make the most of this beautiful day,
Since we're together, we might as well say,
Would you be mine?
Could you be mine?
Won't you be my neighbor?" - Fred Rogers

From Beginning to End

It really felt like soft porn. Nothing much happened. There was hardly any conflict at all, much less conflict resolution.

WARNING: Spoilers

Everyone around them seemed pretty accepting of their relationship for the most part. The only drama in the movie is when one brother has to move away for the Olympics for a few years and that makes them really sad. That's just a reason for them to be apart. Nothing happens with that. I didn't even feel that they played out the development of the relationship in a very believable manner. They were just two (half) brothers who were really close and affectionate and then suddenly, one day as adults, they strip and have sex and fall in love. Also felt like they ran out of money halfway through and just ended it in the middle.

According to netflix I last watched Clerks. Ehhh, it was alright. Fond of some, hated some.

I'm gonna see that movie today if I have to go alone. Been looking forward to it ever since I saw the previews. I totally thought of Akira as well! I've seen Akira prolly 2 dozen times. Mind you, many of those were because I had a roommate who was obsessed with it. He had a more "authentic" version, i.e. captioned and not dubbed. :)

akira is my all-time favourite movie, so my expectations in comparison are very high.

Inception:  Pure genius.  Total mind****.  One of the best movies ever.

Yep. Was literally on the edge of my seat with this movie. I loved the twists and the acting.

Also saw Suckerpunch. Like others said, it started out pretty good, was slightly disappointed with the ending but yeah it was good overall. We rented htis movie though, didn't see it in theatres. It was sorta funny cause my dad can't take mind boggling movies like these and every five minutes he was going "what's happening now? what's happening now?" eventually he gave up lol. shame cause it was an amazing movie :)

Might I just say Amaranth, I love your pic lol. I also support the Lunar Republic ;)
