Oh please do! I'm off to see that next week. I need to know if I'm likely not going to be able to sleep for a week.

Prometheus = the origin of Aliens. The good news is that in the tradition of Aliens, the female characters rock!!! It is clear that a sequel would be coming. Oh, i almost forgot, there were no more than 20 folks in the theater

About to watch Charlie Bartlett. I have a mild crush/infatuation with Anton Yelchin ever since seeing him in Star Trek.

I went to see Men In Black III with my young Marine (my son) lasts night, he sort of invited me, but I pay for it; but instead of been a comedy/adventure, it sort turned out to be drama. I almost cried at the end, I will say it is sci fi chick flick LOL

I invite you to join in this thread dedicated to "Prometheus," if you would like.

I watched Arrietty last night and Prometheus tonight. Both were good movies.

Prometheus in 3D.

The views in that movie are STUNNING. I was blown away when you got to see space through the spaceship windows.

The ending felt kind of rushed though but I hope that the second movie will be better. It was not a bad movie but do not see it with expectations about a new Alien movie because you will get dissapointed if you do that. At first I was like "wtf the movie was bad" but now a few days later I feel like watching it again with a open mind :).

Spoilers? Should I wait until I've seen it (tomorrow, most likely) before checking out the thread?

Yes, I've heard that as well. I'm glad to know that because I can imagine being similarly disappointed if I keep waiting for the alien stuph to start. Now I imagine I will really enjoy the movie.

I watched Prometheus today and I thought it was brilliant. I'm glad Ridley Scott did it because I imagine at some point someone else would have and I don't think it would have been as good or as imaginative.

Me and my friend are watching Alien tonight  ;) it put us in the mood though mate has never seen it! *shock*

That movie is beyond brilliant. I think that might be It is now my first blu-ray purchase aside from Iron Man that I got at a garage sale for like a buck.

Snow White & The Huntsman. Pretty good, I thought it was better than Mirror Mirror but that just might be my love for Charlize Theron. If I could have any genetic females looks it would be hers.
