Were the World Mine

A guy makes a sort of "love" potion that turns people gay and also seems to remove a lot of their inhibitions. It was good, though a bit longer than it needed to be IMHO. It's instant play on Netflix.

Terminator 2, and i can't help crying at the end when he gets melted, am I the only one who gets emotional there?
Thats weird! I watched The Terminator 2 days ago and I rewatched T2 last night. Yeah, the ending is a real bitch!

Finally got round to seeing amazing spiderman.
My mate thought it was ok but wouldn't watch it again. I really liked it, though I didn't like the guy playing spiderman as Peter Parker. I think they have tried to make him a heart throb and it just ruins it for me. I really don't envision Peter Parker as the type of guy to skate board. Plus he doesn't really seem all that intelligent....I mean he gives a wit an equation but it's just one he memorised from his dads work.

Saying all that I do prefer him as spiderman.

I watched Kelly's Heroes on FOX. I'd forgotten about that film. It was a good laugh. I also love the title track.

I watched Ghost World on IFC last night. It's one of those movies that I watch every time I come across it.

Yeah, the skateboard threw me as well, but other than that, I thought he seemed perfect. Toby was just TOO nerdy for Spider-man with too boyish of a voice. This guy looks nerdy but also really cute, which seems to fit for Spidey. I don't know how you got that he didn't seem intelligent enough. They spent a fair amount of the story with him figuring things out, inventing the web shooters, talking about the formula to reverse stuph, etc.

But he was actually the only thing I liked that much about the movie. Overall I was really disappointed and thought it was pretty mediocre. Parts were uber cheesy.

Ah we have a difference of opinion on it then cause I preferred Toby Maguire as Peter Parker but not as spiderman. Although that movie was my first sort of spiderman thing...ever! So maybe it's made me a bit biased. I have to agree with Toby's voice though especially as spiderman it just doesnt really fit I don't think.
Yeah thinking back on it I don't really know where I got the intelligence thing from either, maybe it's because I was expecting him to be a super nerd or something.
I actually really liked it, I didn't find any of it cheesy except maybe when they line up the cranes lol.

Oh well here's hoping batmans amazing

Well, yeah. That was the main cheesy part actually. That made me groan.

I really like that they showed how hard it was to adjust to super strength. I always thought ->-bleeped-<- like that would happen if your strength suddenly increased exponentially. You'd have to get used to handling things more delicately.

Warrior, with Tom Hardy and Joel Edgerton. It covers a lot of familiar ground but in a way and skill that doesn't make it feel cliched. I'd thoroughly recommend it!

It even has Kurt Angle in it! KURT ANGLE!!!

That's happened to me a lot lately the strength thing...maybe I'm spiderman?!

Seriously though it's really annoying, I managed to rip my shoelace in half today and all I did was pull it upwards to tighten my shoe.

They never explained how he managed to make stuff stop sticking to his fingers...

Oooo was it good?

Last movie if you can call it that i guess, it's a documentary called Jiro dreams of Sushi...pretty trippy title but it's just about a bunxh of "the best" Sushi Chefs, i don't like watching the killing of the fish but seeing how they were cooked/prepared sans killing was fascinating.
All I can say is that my life is pretty plain, I like watchin' the puddles gather rain.

Despite all my rage, I'm still just a rat in a cage

Puss in Boots

A little embarrassed to admit that I really enjoyed it. If you're a cat-lover, you'll probably like it.

21 Jump Street.  Was better than I expected...

Following on from Terminator 2 a couple of days ago, I re-watched the train-wreck that is T3: Rise of the Machines. Lets just say, i'm glad i'm already seeing a therapist for my HRT, otherwise i'd be looking for one after watching that lamentable film  :P  ;)
