For me, at this point of time it is a tie between tacos and donairs, or the Greek version of a donair, the gyro :)!!
Well, that's an easy question. It's chocolate, in any form!
Unfortunately, it has become the enemy of my waistline.

Coffee and fries. I pair those with any one other foods and that's the majority of my meals.

slow smoked pork butt
Pho for me. I'm lucky in that my mom makes it regularly.
Coffee!
Um... maybe chocolate? Dark chocolate with a hit of orange?
No, wait...
Breads. No, make that pastries. With coffee, preferably chocolate filled.
Nothing healthy, that's for sure. ;)
Vegetables done right, flavorful and tasty.
Macaroni and cheese with the breadcrumbs on top. I'll lock somebody's granny up in my kitchen if I find one wandering around loose. >:-)

If there's anyone out there looking at this forum I'm going to totally come out to them right now, but I don't think there will be.
I eat joylent (joylent.eu), also available in the US as soylent. I don't like this whole business of shopping, cooking, taking a long time to eat, washing, generating lots of trash. Joylent is a breeze. And you can buy it with bitcoin :)

Pasta with a cream-based sauce! My favorites are fettuccine alfredo and penne alla vodka.
A good charbroiled steak, cooked blue rare to rare, seasoned with salt, pepper and garlic only. None of those sauces that only cover up the flavor.
I also have a passionate love of cordial cherries. When I get some as a gift ( I don't think I have ever bought them) I ration them to make them last as long as I can. Normally I will savor one letting all the goodness melt in my mouth before eating the cherry inside. My daughter gave me a box of 40 for Christmas and I finished it last week. Fortunately I was given more and I had one last night. Only 49 left...

No, Cricket. I said "No sauces" .... make it so. I knew a woman once that invited me to dinner for barbecued steak.
She drenched it in bottled BBQ sauce and grilled it. I've said enough ....

Well you don't cook it with the sauce duh... that's for chicken. ;D
You only use sauce if people are rude and over cook it, because who wants a steak that is yucky and isn't mostly pink inside?

Pink is overcooked. Condiments are for hamburgers. Cordial cherries are to be savored for dessert.

That's my sister... she likes her steak to moo.... (I like it slightly less able to talk but maybe able to moan)... but I do not grill and my mom refuses to let it speak to us from the plate.
JeanetteLW, I'm mostly trying to eat vegan now but guiltily love a steak, however scarcely. But I'm no purist and I love sausces (maybe not tomato but sauce is great)
Niki Knight, I think you and I are quite alike with chocolate and coffee; they are my primary vices.
Besides chocolate and coffee I love pancakes. Pancakes are amazing, they have such humble beginnings as the food of peasantry. Now you can buy them in fancy cafe's and restaurants, you can dress them up or down for the occasion. I personally would favour a classic roadside diner style, thick, fluffy pancake stack with a little syrup and a coffee. Wearing my flannel like a lumberjack somewhere in Canada, looking out the window at thick evergreen forests. That's my meal.
I've been buying pizza dough (I know, very lazy) and making my own pizza recently, kind of addicting to try out different stuff on it. Really liking that at the moment, trying to eat a little healthier so not using a much cheese.

I suppose the good of it does add in the reasoning to do so. And as long as your taste buds like it too! Stiil, I will stick with my tacos or donairs :D!!
Carne Asada Fries! Or a good California Burrito (would recommend looking it up if you haven't heard of it)
Also a good pork broth Ramen (not the instant kind)

Sonoran Hot Dogs from El Guero Canelo in Tucson, Arizona. There are others that are good but EGC makes my favorite.
Take a hot dog, wrap it in bacon, cook it on the grill, stuff it into a super soft bun with some beans, pico de gallo, and sour cream. Add a bit of salsa verde and you're set for a wonderful trip into gastric distress.

Ewwwwwww............... me no likey those
Cheetos are 30% heroin by weight.
I did try that stunt item Burger King did, the mac and cheetos. It was like box mac and cheese (kraft dinner for those outside the USA) coated with ground up cheetos and fried. I hated myself for doing it, but oh they tasted awesome.
Buffalo Wings- if done right. They have to be plump, crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, and of course tender- any stringiness just ruins it. Also the sauce/rub has to notable. No generic Franks's red hot. Typically I like them extra hot- with good flavor/ not heat for heats sake. And of course a good homemade ranch or bleu cheese dressing for dipping is mandatory.

Reading through these replies I gotta say you all have good ideas for food (excpet for cheetos, non for me thanks ^^).
I like a varitety of foods. My main flavours for most foods are buttery or spicy when i can. Get some tabassco sauce on a hot dogs, tacos or steak or really buttery movie theater pop-corn. Real butter too I may add and not that crap in a tub. Omg good :)!
Hmmm... let's see.
My favorite type of food is Chinese food.
In a more specific tone, though probably more Americanized Chinese food is basil beef with jasmine rice, and various greens such as bok choy or Chinese broccoli
And also inclusive to my favorite typing is baked goods.
Again going into specifics. Cheesecake of any variety, including pumpkin, or lemon, or berry.
Though all baked goods are still on par with that.
One more favorite type is breakfast foods.
Breakfast bagel sandwiches. A nice everything bagel, toasted just enough to give it the nice little crisp, but still soft and fluffy inside. Slathered in cream cheese, with a few strips of bacon, or butterflied sausage links, and scrambled eggs. Topped with a sriracha smiley face.
I need to stop now or else I would list just about everything that I do have the favorites. But this list is my top favorites if you can call it that.
Edit;
How could I pass up my consumable love of Indian food.
Oh my goodness. A good homemade curry that basically uses a metric ton of pureed onions as it's base, along with those good spices and herbs such as fenugreek, and turmeric, and and cumin...
Lamb biryani, saag, and mixed lentils.
Anything with meat in it. I am 150% carnivore. I don't have a sweet tooth. Can't stand chocolate or anything sweet. I think I have enlarged canines instead, lol.
Probably my favourite food is simple roast beef. Or lamb. Or pork. Or... well, you get the picture. :)

Okay bad assumption in my part. NYC pizza is 1/8 inch thick, pick up a slice (triangle NOT square) with your hand, crease it lengthways down the middle and devour. Don't forget to wipe your chin of the oil after you catch the drip running down your arm.
Chicago pizza requires a knife and fork. One slice is enough for most mortals. It's typically 1cm to 2cm think and heavy!
Google it.

I prefer the thin Chicago style that is cut into the squares and not greasy like NY style. Hard to find outside the Chicagoland area too.
But there's really no such thing as a bad pizza. NY style, Pizza Hut/Domino's, even Little Caesar's, cheap microwave, all better than pretty much any other food option.

On the note of pizza. My personal favorite has to come down to some serious deep dish pizza's. Paxti's Pizza, which for me I have two locations which I have gone to, one in San Francisco, and the other, closer to my military base, so it's my weekend pizza. But serious about the deep dish is I would say close to if not an inch thick. The first time I tried it, I was hooked.
If there is one around your area, I do recommend it. I might just end up going for pizza this coming weekend.

I really can't deal with Durian. I've had it in all kinds of forms, durian cake, durian sweets, raw, durian "chips". The only ones I could stomach were the chips, as all the flavor and smell had been destroyed. I see why some hotels in Singapore ban Durians in the rooms. A mischievous Thai friend of mine likes "surprising" me with Durian related food, knowing full well I can't stand it, haha.
As for other food I do like, I have always loved Italian. I could eat far too much of that.
I also tried durian, but couldn't get into it. That is definitely an acquired taste.
Pizza is another love of mine, and lately I've been making low carb versions with cauliflower based "crust" that are really good. It's a knife and fork affair unfortunately, but better than being fat and certainly better than having no pizza like food at all.
Pizza. Always has been and always will be. Hugs

With Moreton Bay bugs (AKA Thenus), all the meat is in the tail, so it's easy to get to. They're actually a lobster species.

I've been doing low carb for a couple years now, and strict ketogenic diet for 18 months.
Check out this modified fat head crust pizza. I make this quite often, better than any cauliflower based crust I've tried.
And... the texture is pretty close to the real thing- no knife and fork required!

I honestly LOVE Costcos eatery! I recall on fond memory in 1999 at age 5 while living back in Victoria getting a Costco pizza with my dad :).. However, know when I go i just get the hot dog and drink deal for like $1.50 or so, and a side of fries and gravey... Or if I got no cash then my mom gets a poutine from Costco and we split it while i eat around the cheese curds ;)
Woah.

Hahaha yup ^.^. Poutine is as Canadian as snow so it is sold just about everywhere.Even most McDonalds sells poutines. In regards to Costco i miss the ones in Western Canada. Both the ones in Victoria British Columbia and Winnipeg Manitoba use beef gravey for the fries. All the Costcos in Ontario that I have been to use like a chicken gravey ... not as good for fries IMO
This place sounds magical
^.^ Come move up here!! Enjoy universal health care, a simpler political party naming of Conservative Party vs Liberal Party, where LGBT people are respected but given privacy and just a great land with snow :)!!! and if you dont like the snow 4 months of the year then you can always live in the far milder BC coast where during winter all you may need is a sweater.. or sometimes it is hot enough for short sleeves sometimes. I end up adding in some onion, garlic, and garlic and herb powder along with some oregano to either the crust, sauce or both.
When melting the cheese I microwave, stir repeat until mostly gooey- 15 seconds at a time in microwave. I add in cream cheese before it's completely melted, and microwave both to get a good blend.
Other big tip is to mix up the psyllium husk and spices in a small cup/bowl then mix it into the almond flour. Slowly add in almond flower mixture 1/3 at a time to cheese mixture. The cheese has an issue of not distributing the seasoning /husk very well and you end up with big clumps of seasoning and husk- making for an uneven texture/taste.

You would think so but no, i have known about Donairs for years :). One of my top fav food!, In Petawawa we have a Maritime pizza change called Greco that serves donairs (of course) so i tend to fetch a bite there at times. I have heard that the Greco donair in the Atlantic provinces is better but oh well, i like donairs in any case. In Western Canada I have noticed most donairs are replaced by the Gyro which is in many ways similar, just instead of sweet sauce they use Taziki sauce :)

So I nearly did get stranded by Delta so I didn't get to try it until last night. I thought I had psyllium husk in the cabinet but it was ground flax seed. I decided to give it a whack anyway with what I had on hand and substituted the flax for the psyllium. And it came out GREAT!
