How have I never noticed this thread before, I will try to restrain myself(ish) but there are so many little things that annoy me
People who use the right hand side of a busy staircase when there are signs plastered everywhere that clearly say "please stay to the left" - it's so bloody infuriating when I end up standing at the bottom of a staircase like a moron waiting for streams of people coming down in one big horde. SINGLE FILE, ON THE LEFT, SO PEOPLE GOING THE OTHER DIRECTION CAN USE THE STAIRS TOO GAAAH
On a similar note, people who get to the bottom of a staircase or an escalator and then STOP. I don't care if you're trying to decide which direction you need to go, move away from the staircase and then decide, you are not the only person in the universe, there are people behind you.
People who seem to be able to take up an entire side walk by themselves so I end up doing a stupid left right left right dance behind them trying to get past, or risk getting run over. Don't get me wrong I'm not talking about people who are big, it's usually tiny old ladies that do this, they seem to sort of go in an unpredictable wave along the middle of the path....please...please...just walk straight for a few seconds so I can get past you and walk faster than 0.000001 MPH ;___;
I don't know why, but this happens to me A LOT - I will be walking down the aisle of a shop, and I will see someone who's stopped to look at something. Then just at the split second I walk behind them, they step backwards. Then look at me as if it's my fault they just stepped on me.
Also people who walk in groups along narrow paths, and refuse to move into single file if they see me coming the other way. Do they expect me to pass through them? Jump over them?
Drivers who repeatedly rev their engines impatiently when I've pressed the button at a crossing so I can cross the road. I'm so sorry for adding 10 seconds to your journey, I'm clearly a horrible person.
I think I'll leave it at that for now or I will be here all night
