I last saw Superman vs. the Elite. Great animated film. I know, I'm a geek.

Also, I saw "The Master of Disguise" and "Me, Myself, and Irene". Both are hilarious movies.

The last film I saw in theaters was Dark Knight Rises, which I actually enjoyed immensely.

I liked everything about that movie but the voices.... It was like this:
Bane --> "I'm Count Chocula. One, one bat. Ha ha ha ha ha."
Batman --> "I'm Batman, and I have laryngitis."

My favorite part, though, wasn't anything important: How Batman's motorcycle wheels can turn SIDEWAYS!!!! Dual gyro-dynamic capabilities?!?!?!?!?! (Swoons)

Silence of the Lambs. Not that I like Horror movies but the acting of sir Anthony and Jodie blew my mind.

He makes for one creepy as hell murderer.
Is that you in your DP?

I watched battlestar galactica the mini series but it was on DVD and I watched the full 3 hours so I think it should count as a movie

The Help. There was really nothing on TV today besides sports, I liked it better than I thought I would.

I'm astounded by how many people aren't familiar with it. I guess it's a scary reminder of how old I am because it's before their time.

I still use the expression "a crying game moment" to describe any sort of surprise you get when someone strips in front of you for the first time and you are shocked by something you didn't know about them. No one has understood the expression for at least the last ten years I've been saying it. Freakin' whipper-snappers!
Lol you're old. *points* *laughs*

I tried to watch Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone today, but I really don't have the patience for movies when I've already read the book. I got to the point where he finds out he's a wizard. I may switch it to the Spanish dub and see how that goes.

Iron Sky

The premise is that Nazis evacuated to the dark side of the moon and have been preparing for their invasion ever since. It was awesome. It was made by several other countries outside the U.S. and is very critical of the U.S. political and war machines but also critical of just politicians and leaders in general from around the world. I loved that. It has a very Sarah Palin-esque president and a space ship named the George W. Bush.

We watched it in the theater via Tugg. Tugg is awesome btw. You can get all kinds of movies shown in your local theater that wouldn't otherwise have a theatrical release. You create an event for free. If enough people sign up to buy tickets, it happens. If they don't, it just doesn't happen but you're not out any money.

Lawless. Despite a great cast, just a long, bloody slog. Grade? C+

Transformers 3. I thought it was really good but I couldnt help but notice the typical shots. Example: woman stood in the middle of a street looking beautiful, her hair blowing around her face whilst she is miraculously missed by the bombardment of explosions happening all around her.

Im curious as always with these sorts of American movies to know what the rest of the world was supposedly doing. I can't be the only one whose's noticed that we all apparently just....ignore it or something LOL

I love the transformers movies purely because of the CG visuals ( the sight of Blackout transforming in the first movie for the first time made my jaw drop.) I love the music and because of Optimus Prime.
Peter Cullen as Optimus Prime again, the truck design and paint scheme....(drools) then seeing it transform into a robot, it was real movie magic for me.

The last movie I watched was, Orlando. My favourite quote was when Orlando discovered he was now female and said to himself, "Same person. No difference at all... just a different sex."
I thought it a wonderful movie.

I watched the first and second Harry Potter movies with spanish dubbing, and it was fun. Seemed kind of caricatured and simplified compared to the books, but I know it's silly to expect the movies to be the same as the books for anything. I watched part of The Motorcycle Diaries too and I liked that very much.

I just went to go see Brave a week ago. It was cute, but the Brother Bear references took away from the charm of the movie. But still a cute flick, and amazing soundtrack. So 4/5.

Watched The Avengers recenty. Couldn't help but laugh when the Hulk said to Loki "Puny God". :) Other than that I'm really a fan of comic book heroes so I enjoyed the film.

Watched  The Mechanic with Jason Statham. The movie is a straight copy of the previous version with Charles Brosnon (?). Even down to the same point that neither of them can act.

But Statham is cute, he can tighten my rings any day  >:-)

Last movie I finished watching was Howl's Moving Castle. One of my favourites, it's so wonderful and beautiful, I absolutely adore it.  Howl is voiced by Christian Bale, and there's this one part where he does his Batman voice and it just awesome.

I've watched most of Princess Mononoke (also a favourite) but I need to see the final half hour or so, then it'll be the last movie I've watched.

Dark Shadows with Johnny Depp, it was a riot and I loved the music, wish I had lips like his!
