Well for awhile i have been doing the transition from mtf and i have been noticing that a few of my straight guy friends have been challenging any guy that shows interest. One have been doing it badly lately. A lot of the guys have been asking advice and stuff in life. and they listen. Unlike before when i was a guy to them. Should i expect this behavior from them? Should i worry about the one straight friend that wont let me go to clubs, food places, or even for a walk by myself without him near me?

Hi LadyRaven87;

Although I am not into men, your straight friend sounds very protective to me. I would if I was you get into a more of a relationship with him. He sounds as though he wants to look after you as a woman. Enjoy it, in fact revel into. It can be very fulfilling to you, if you want it. I have a friend who transitioned, had a male friend through that period that she was close to, started dating, then fell in love and got married. She is now very fulfilled as a housewife  with a very protective and loving man. They make a great team.

Best of luck

Hugs
