Hello there,

I'm not necessarily new but I've never had the courage to post.  This place has taught me quite a lot of things, and I figure it is time enough to let myself be known.  Recently I moved from the deep south of Mississippi all the way up to the much more liberal Vermont.  I've not really had any exposure to other people similar to myself and unfortunately the populace in my home state were not too comfortable, gay or straight, when faced with my person.
My name is Bradley, I just turned twenty-five this October, and I've been taking HRT for on the latter side of four years.  Despite this, due to my living circumstances, I was always very terrified to dress in my community.  Now that I am in a place that is far more open and accepting there is no fear of being "found-out" and terminated.  I'd very much love to meet and befriend others like myself, or anyone really, that I can share companionship with.
I don't have a clue about make-up or clothes, only just started dressing appropriately female now... so in a sense I am very new to this.  It's very scary and lonely, but also relieving!

Anywho, thank you for reading my silly introductory.

Hi and welcome. Bradley - I'm glad you've found yourself somewhere safe to land. I guess it's time to begin to let yourself figure out how you want to look, how you'd like to be called, all that kind of stuff - and it's okay to take your time over all that. Enjoy your journey :).

Hi Bradley ,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to catch up  and say "Hi".  You obviously like it here, hope you stay for a while longer.

As you already know there is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, and its good you've finally taken the plunge to jump in and start talking. I certainly hope the rest of your journey is as fruitful.

I know my geography is pretty loose, however if you are ever in Boston, Devlyn could certainly do with a cup of coffee. She'll be in soon. And just watch the mug (the one she drinks from, not the one you talk to. She likes mugs, the one you drink from not the ones you talk to. )   ;D   Devlyn is Australia's very own Charge d'Affaire resident in Boston. (Where you somehow drink a lot of tea). If you ever want to visit Oz, see her and she'll send you on your way ( to the Land of Oz, of course  ;D)

Oh, by the way. Happy recent Birthday. Your intro was very honest and from the heart, not silly at all

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Hi there, Bradley.  I'm in California.

You will find, if you have not already found, lots of information on makeup, hair, dressing, etc.

There are a lot of girls here who have already been on your path, and can offer tips.

Good luck to you.

Thank you Catherine!  The weather is likely a tad less frigid in ye olde Australia I figure?  I'm a little far up to make a Boston trip for coffee, but that would be super nice if I could manage!  Tea is nice, better than (that's right I said it) coffee!

Thank you Ms. O'Brien, I will have a look-see through all of those links provided.  Hopefully I can make a decent sister, haha.

Hey Jamie, I was in California not too long ago visiting.  The weather was so nice, but the grass cut me.  Isn't that weird?  I've been practicing some make-up tips and I think I've gotten it so far!
