I heard that being circumcised can have an effect on SRS outcome since the foreskin provides more skin and nerve endings that can be used in constructing a neovagina. For the transwomen who are interested in answering, are/were you circumcised or not pre-op? If you're post-op, did it have any noticable effect on the outcome? (FYI, I am a strong "intactivist" who is against the routine circumcision of babies and children. Don't worry, I'm not against individuals who can consent from modifying their bodies.)

As I understand it, the foreskin (if intact) will have kept the glans from becoming thicker and less sensitive...a penis, under the foreskin, will be like the inside of the lip...moist, soft, and very sensitive. A circumsized one, however, tends to be dry, rough, and less sensitive. (Although these are somewhat subjective, depending on many things).

So an uncut male's penis should provide a more sensitive clitoris, but again this depends on the surgeon and his/her technique.

The foreskin itself, being a pretty small snippet, probably doesn't add much to the depth/circumference of the neo-vagina. Or at least, I wouldn't imagine so.

I was circumcised at birth, and I resent that. I consider it to be the first of many sexual assaults. Of course my views don't reflect on what others may or may not want.

But, nothing to be done about that now. I just have to "let it go."
...I think for most of us it is a futile effort to try and put this genie back in the bottle once she has tasted freedom...

Circumcision might make you a bit less lubrified, a bit less sensitive and remove a bit of length. But that's by no means an especially big effect.

If depth is an issue for you, it's always possible to use a skin graft, which leaves a scar, but allows the surgeon to adjust the depth at will. And since all scars can be taken care of in a plastic surgeon/etc.'s office, you shouldn't worry about the scar all that much if you think you'd need a graft.
