I follow this blog. Great to see short guys. Very few are as short as I am at 5'1.

I find that as well, I'm 5'1 1/2 (got to count the half!) and it actually makes me feel worse because these are what society thinks are 'short guys', so what does that make me?!  I have to say though some of the manliest men that I know have been about 5'5.

Ha! I always count the half as well - and I'm exactly your height.

My height (or lack thereof) was one of the main reasons why I didn't transition when I should've done 21 years ago. I was living in South Africa where the average man is around the 6ft mark and they mercilessly pick on short guys, so any man around my height would face constant, daily ridicule. I had a friend who was 5'2 and it affected him so badly that he had to drive a monster truck to compensate for being belittled in his everyday life. I'd already been through so much pain due to having been born female that there was no way I could handle being picked on for being a short guy.

But here in the UK I see men almost every day - who I presume to be cisguys - who are my height or shorter, so I'm much happier to transition in this environment.

It lists Prince at 5'2.

Sully Erna: 5'5"

Al Pacino: 5'6"

Danny DeVito: tallest I'm seeing is 5', but I'm seeing as short as 4'9"

Emilio Estevez: 5'5" (rounding up it seems)

Joe Pesci: 5'4"

Robert Downey, Jr.: 5'7" (the most reliable I've seen)

David Spade: 5'5" (apparently also rounding up)

Rob Schneider: I'm seeing as low as 5'3"-5'4" and as tall as 5'7" (consensus seems to be somewhere in the middle maybe)

I think Michael J Fox is about 5'2".

I'm happy to be in the UK where average height is 5'9" I'm 5'7" and funnily enough, end up the tallest guy in the room at times.

I actually did not realize 5'7 - 5'8" was considered short. Probably because so many of the men I've known have been under 6'. I feel so short now at only 5'1". For some reason it's often considered cute for females/female identified people to be short, but not males, at least from what I've experienced. If only T could make you grow taller.

Yeah, I thought average for males was 5'7" to 5'10". I am short at 5'2".

I think it's considered cute for girls to be short, since girls are supposed to be dainty and delicate. So, when you're small and need help reaching stuff and lifting things, it's just cute for non-short people. Since guys are supposed to be strong and tough, being short would make them seem weaker in comparison to taller guys and less desirable to our cavewoman ancestors. I am sure some find short guys to be cute.   

For similar reasons, it seems to be less of an issue for gay guys to be short. Some gay guys think there is some inherent cuteness to shorter guys. I've had at least two guys I dated express an appreciation for the fact I was shorter than them.

Interesting, I didn't know this.

I'm 5'8" and a lot of the time I feel much shorter than older cis males but have noticed younger guys tend to be on the shorter side (in their 20's). Maybe we're all getting shorter as time goes on from all of the environmental pollutants.

i'am 1.70 cm and i think i'am  so short cause guys in my age are 1.80 cm and more
