I got my referral to the gender clinic, and came out to two family members at 31, came out to the rest of my immediate family a few months later. Came out at work and went full-time at 32, started T a couple of months later. Been on T for a couple of years now, and on the waiting list for surgeries.

Went and got me a ticker, so everytime I post I'm reminded to put down whatever I was about to eat. >.>

Be yourself regardless of what other may think of you. Tis your life not theirs. :)

42 realization that perhaps I can not go on in status quo. Start of Soy based HRT regimen and diet of calorie deprevation to get closer to the female body, mind you at this time I am 227lbs and semi-pro body builder at 6'1"
43 suicide attempt and immediate embrace of what shall come next.
44 whole wide world learns that I am in fact Not who I appear to be. Start of pharmaceutical HRT.
45 after 6 months of HRT I am fortunate to have ability to undergo FFS, my body now at 157lbs and height at 5'103/4", yep, I was amazed too, lol
presently 46, agency Model, still morphing into the perfection I have envisioned, perhaps asking a lot of my self, but as I have found out,

Lived my life as a boy since about 7 years old (although my mom would still sometimes buy me girl clothes, she let me pick out my own boy clothes too). Of course at that point I didn't care a lot about being a specific gender, I just lived how I felt it was right to. I played mainly with boys, all my toys were soldiers, toy guns, and video games.

15 realized no use in continuing to try being a real guy, so grew out my hair and lived as a girl. Hated it. Very uncomfortable in my body.

18 years old, cut my hair very short again, took my male name back. 8 days on T now. Enough of BSing myself with trying to be a girl. Feels great.

Full time since 17.

Androgen producing tumor led to "natural" transitioning (I naturally have a T level in the 300 range) until 31.

Now 31 years old getting a complete hysto and oophorectomy mid next month and starting T (surgical pain, manopause, and newly on a cismale dose of T. God bless my poor girlfriend, lol.)

I started hair removal at 40, I started HRT at 42 and had SRS at 44. I am now 46. My avatar is from a couple of years ago.

Came out at 28, started HRT at 32 and went full time when it was thrust on me after a year or so. I say thrust on me because I was oblivious to how far I had come, and when I asked for the bathroom key at a local cafe, and I was handed the key to the woman's bathroom, I had a panic attack. Stupid, right? But I was so unprepared for it. I suppose my internal body-recognition software was failing to keep pace with the reality of my physical appearance.

Nothing was the same after that.

I'm completing my journey (at least this part of it) early next year.

Started socially transitioning last year; mostly part time now, ready and rearing to go full time. Will start hormones this week.

So...21/22?

I started low dose HRT while still in the navy at 27.  I had come out to a family member with still one year to serve at 26.  Yikes that was a hard year!

I joined the navy to sail the sea and see what I could see and ended up seeing me .... oh, also joined to suppress my feelings which worked for a few years.

But I went full time, name change, drivers license change etc just before 28.  SRS at 30.  46 now.  Time flys.

I started coming out a month ago, and I still have to go through most of the stages of transition. I'm real-lifing as much as I can and I'll hopefully start HRT in Febrary, maybe March (depends on the criteria of Spanish doctors :-P).

I'm 28.

Came out to everyone about a week after I turned 25, and went full time (or as close to it as I could manage) pretty much instantaneously. Due to the gender clinic screwing up my information, though, I unfortunately didn't start hormones until I was halfway to 27. Ah well. All in the past now. ^^

Started at 28. I wish I would have started earlier, but I'm happy with where I'm at now.
