I just wanted to share some info about bras from a male perspective that may help some of you out when choosing one that's right for you.
First off there's a difference in the frames of men and women, so when considering your bra and cup size, you have to realize that men have broader chests, so your breasts tend to be wider than a woman's. This can be good and bad... bad because bras are not going to sit quite right on the male body, but good because it gives you a different way to fit comfortably into a larger cup bra.
I started out wearing a B cup as a teenager, and I didn't fill the cups out very well at all, I thought this was as good a fit as I could expect since I didn't have the hardware to fill a bra with. It wasn't till I was fitted for a bra that I found out, I didn't need a smaller cup, I needed a bigger one! I started wearing larger cups, and the fit got better and better. I am currently sitting here wearing a DD cup and filling it out completely.
Even though I don't have the hardware to fill the cups up straight out, because I have a broad chest, what I don't fill into the cup depth wise, I can fill in breadth wise.
Also I would recommend getting underwire bras, they help take what you have and funnel it more into a feminine shape.
Aside from that my own personal preference is for the wide backs and comfort straps... I wear bras full time and it's become sort of a utilitarian item of clothing for me. Pretty and lacey are rarely comfy and cozy. Usually you can find the large comfy bras in pink and they will invariably have a little bow between the cups, but if you're looking for comfort that's about as frilly as you can expect.
