Simon, I hope you have a best success with hysterectomy. I know you are looking to having those parts gone. I wish I was at that point so I could have mine right now. When I do have mine, I want everything removed, so no need for exam down there.
I don't see how I could be living completely as a guy and having to go into a GYN's office for such an exam, that would be most embarrassing thing to do. Prolapse is problem for many women, many get after child birth. My understanding from being around women in my family is that your muscle tone in pelvic area has alot to do with getting prolapse. I am in good physical shape and plan on keeping up my exercise program so I hope to avoid the prolapse program all together. Let us know how everything goes for you.
