"For transpeople, using the right pronoun is NOT simply a 'political correctness' issue. It's core to the entire struggle transpeople go through. Using the wrong pronoun means 'I don't recognize you as who you are.' It means 'I think you're confused, delusional, or mentally I'll.'. It means 'you're not important enough for me to acknowledge your struggle.'"

Alexis, I can't believe or imagine that there could ever be a bad picture of you, no matter the lighting. You are just too photogenic, period. People claim that I can pass, but I want to throw in the towel after seeing you! Are you sure that you're not a cis girl? LOL

Well, I haven't posted in a while...

Anyway, I've been on HRT for a bit, and have had my eyebrows waxed, but I don't really do much else in the way of presenting yet.  I'm still kind of waiting on my hair to grow out (got it cut short over the summer and it's a bit awkward at the moment) and to get some electrolysis done thoroughly on my neck.  I also took a break over the summer from HRT due to my long-term girlfriend leaving me, which didn't really help anything.  For now I'm kind of just aiming to be a bit more androgynous publicly, working with changes i can be comfortable with.  Here are a few pics.

Cori, if you are looking for androgynous, just look in the mirror.  You're there.

Hey everyone! I'm new here and just started my transition- had my first laser treatment for beard removal today and came out to a close friend... aka it's officially begun!! :D I'm super excited to see what HRT will bring me (starting when I get back from holiday travels in Jan). Also my hair is much longer in the back, about 2-3" below shoulder.

Here are a few pics... What do you think?!

~Jenny

Hey Jenny.  Yeah, your beard shadow is very evident in the top picture.  Laser or electrolysis is a good place to start.  You may want to thin your brows from the bottom, too.

In that lower picture, it is hard for me to gender you.

Go over to the before and after topic and see the amazing changes that happen in time.

I'm still waiting for doctors to let me start HRT so right now I know I don't pass, specially for my body. I think my face is a good start even being 29. What do you think? Please be sincere.

I think HRT will do wonderful things for you.  You have a lot to look forward to in my opinion.

Ok, no makeups and damp hair, would I pass ok?

Or would I make a better fish?
