My dumbest phone is my satellite phone. It looks like cell phone I had in 1997 except the antennae is larger. It is basically good for phone and SMS and possibly data but I've never tried. It has come in handy around Africa and I'm sure it will be useful in a few weeks when I travel to a remote location in Columbia (2 hours outside Bogota).

I upgraded from iphone 4 to galaxy note 2 to use the stylus(S-pen) and take memo immediately at any time.
I am still practicing with the s-pen.
Yes. It is funny to write this message with s-pen to post from my note 2.

Wow, It's interesting to see so many people still use regular cell phone or dumb phone. For me, I can't live without my iphone now. First it's required for my job. I interact with my boss over sms &mms on a daily basis and employees' schedule is based on google calender. Second, the convenience!! I can customize the alarm clock the way I want. I can whip up and use my phone as a flashlight just like that (used that A LOT!). With the new update there's a 'do not disturb' function, I can keep other calls silent except calls from certain people (employers specifically). I found that extremely useful. I also pay some of my bills on the phone. I can check if there's sales on my online store anywhere anytime. Plus many others advantages. All of these for $50/mo on tmobile.

There are a lot of us over 60 who still don't have cell phones.  One reason I didn't have one is because I don't get many calls except for the politicians around voting time.  I repaired over 32,000 cell phones during my career from the first "portable" ones that went into the trunk of your car to the first palm sized ones.  These were all the old analog types that there are no longer signals for.  I didn't care for one back then either.

I'm 22 and I still have Nokia 2630 I bought in 2008. :D I don't really see a reason to get a new phone since it works just fine and gets the most important things done AKA phone calls and texts.

To be completely honest, I don't want to get a smart phone after seeing how smart my fiancé's phone is... It tries to make calls on its own and acts all crazy without a reason. She has to basically knock it unconscious to use it properly. Perhaps it's too smart for a phone.

I have the same phone she does! If I cough it calls the doctor and sets up an appointment!

Smartphone is a kind of PC + phone. In my case, I have to use "remote desktop connection" frequently to log on and use the desktop PC at my office while travelling. The big screen of Galaxy Note 2 helps this job greatly. My everyday applications  include Google calendar, Gmail, Google news, Facebook, S-note and Camera. With S-note, I do not need to carry a pen and a pocket notebook.

There are many smart functions even in Camera, such as Best shot and Best face. The following photo was taken today using "Panorama" function, which combines several photos into one:
