Atcually to be honest I cant se anything than a girl there in that picture.

Awww, Carolina, thank you x) It's just that I still can't see it in the mirror. But I've really changed since 2006, it's *very* true. But many of the features I attribute to laser, haircut and general care (we care about ourselves now!).

You're Wonderful!

Thank you! And as Shantel said, eventually you'll have to post pics sans makeup :) But the fact that you're already projecting so far is that changes probably will happen faster than for me. I just stayed afloat for months, perhaps more than a year, just almost waiting for changes to happen (did change many things such as taking care of myself and imagining how'd be the different life, but didn't act by trying a further projection wearing aggressive makeup to imagine different cheek lines, a smooth skin, a greater contrast between lip & skin, etc).

I saw the photo before reading who it was and thought it was one of the FtMs......   :-)

Ahhhh, that is a compliment *blushes* x)

Yes, there's hope. Are you in HRT? If so, it'll hold the hairline still, that's very important. We can try to imagine the picture without facial hair, but for *us*, in the mirror, it really holds ourselves back because it's so a physical clue that our judgement is severely impaired.

Your hair is already delicate (I think mine is still masculine, don't really know why) and your lines are soft, so you're on track. :)

Got a ways to go, lets see how the hormones will go :D

Ah, you're going. Hope they recover your hairline. Mine did recover some, so today I'm just okay with it. And your smile is beautiful! :) Your hands are already feminine, and that will help you a lot. Way to go! :)

I am not on HRT yet but I do see the endocrinologist for my second appointment at the end of January and hope to start then. My problem with my hair is that it has never been particularly thick and longest I ever got it was on my shoulders normal and passed my shoulder blades when soaking wet lol It has been the length it is now for a few months as I cut it earlier in the year as a sort of final chance to see it short for a friend type deal.

Hope it starts getting longer.

Thank you.

Hoping my hairline will get much better, dont like the big forhead lol. I've been on medications for about 6 weeks and its been working, hairs starting to get thicker and I'll really know in a few months how it will really go. Other than that I have confidence that my body will get some great changes in!

Even if your hairline does not move forwards once your hair is longer you can do a lot of things to make it look better :)

Angélique LaCava

no makeup on except lipgloss and btw if any of yall dont know im not on HRT yet and i havnt taken any estrogen or birth control.

Angelique, I think you're looking pretty good. You seem to have a nice complexion. You do have a few masculine features but I think after a year or two of hrt your face will become much softer. You'll probably find you're totally passable without FFS after hrt alone.

Aleah

Looking good Angelique, very feminine already, HRT will do wonders for you.

I think it's about time I post some updated pics..

Still got a lot more laser to do (before I can wear little or no makeup), still need eyebrows shaped, still need to grow out my hair longer and only 1 month on HRT.

Anyway here they are: http://imgur.com/a/tFSFK

I think you should do quite well Aleah  :)  You are already rather feminine looking

Hello from a new member. I'm 35 and from Finland. Been fighting against myself for most of life, but been going through my life for a few years now and finally came to a conclusion that I cannot continue like this anymore. Thus I've started to transition on my own. Nothing much yet done, but facial hair removal will start now in January, hormones I will hope to start next summer and a year from now, 1.1.2014 I hope to live as a woman among others. I hope :) Been lately so depressed that I didn't do this when I was twenty and still had most of the life ahead.

I would really appreciate brutally honest comments about my appearance. Being 35 I'm really worrying will I pass even after hormones (even when I've seen that the hormones can do miracles). I will turn 36 next summer, but hopefully I've been on hormones for a few months before birthday. In any case, it would be nice to get honest opinions now and not a year from now :)

Oh my I think HRT will do wonders with your face  :). I would say that you are pretty lucky because you have no male features standing out too much.

The thing that I can see is your adams apple but thats it.

Some MtF as well as CIS women just have flat butts, it's all about genetics, but Caroline is right, HRT will give you a fuller caboose.
