Ah you're right! gotta stop doing that I think it's become a habit  :P Still I have to admit, I'm quite happy that the most masculine problem you found with the other pics was my expression :D
Thanks, Shan!

Hi, y'all. I'm new. :)

http://s1282.beta.photobucket.com/user/omicron1231/library/

Today is, God willing, t-minus 7 for the beginning of HRT. I've had a month and change of electrolysis work done, and have been growing my hair out for about a year. Haven't done much with styling or clothing yet. This is very much "me as I am day to day." One of the two friends I have confided in expressed skepticism that I would ever be female enough to pass, so in a fit of worry I came here.

So, two questions: Will my general 6'-even, looks-pudgy-at-180lb build be passable in time? And, what about the face? I assume FFS will be in order in a bit, but will that be sufficient? '~'
Don't lose who you are along the path to who you want to be.

Hi Zoe;

I have two suggestions:
1. Make an appointment with a beautician and get your eyebrows waxed and thinned out into a natural curve and then get them tinted. I suggest tint your hair colour as I think they are too dark and straggly to pass
2. Get your eyelashes tinted - probably brown as well

f you want to go one further step you can get your eyeliner tattooed in , although I haven't dine that.
With nice eyebrows with a feminine curve and mascara  and a nice lipstick, it will do wonders for you.

One thing that really does help is get your Colour Analysis done so that you pick the best colours to match your skin colours.

Hugs

Zoe, I wouldn't listen to your friend because I think you already look quite feminine! Your face in nice and rounded and your pudge is too cute!! I looove pudgeee! I agree with the girlie above, if you got your eyebrows done it would make a world of difference. Also, once you start styling your hair, it will look a lot more fem. I think bangs would be super cute on you. Your smile is so pretty, too!

Aside from some 5 o clock shadow, and maybe the bottom of your chin, you look very womanly.

Since hrt should add fat on your face, i think you will do just nicely, in fact i think there would be no need for ffs

You do have a really cute face, I think you would do well once you find your personal style.

Minus the 'balloon-chest' I think you're quite reasonably most of the way there already.

Using the wrong pronoun means 'I don't recognize you as who you are.' It means 'I think you're confused, delusional, or mentally I'll.'. It means 'you're not important enough for me to acknowledge your struggle.'"

Very pretty, cute girl...the balloon chest did make me laugh a little (reminded me of a movie I saw where the teenaged girl literally put blown up balloons in her bra)...I don't think there's much you need to do at all tho!

Aww  you guys are really sweet but the fact is I don't look feminine at all without makeup. My nose is particularly masculine (Latin blood!) and my lips are really small. I know I need ffs to look feminine in my own skin without any makeup at all, what do you all think?

You should be on HRT for a while before making those kinds of decisions.

You look cute already. Hormones will probably improve on this, but I don't anticipate that you would have much of a problem passing even beforehand.

Lucky.

Well, I think you could certainly pass once you've taken care of your facial hair and hormones. Let me say that you have a very smooth forehead, and a high, though feminine, hairline. Your nose doesn't seem problematic either. Your upper face is really quite good, though it's a shame that you made it do an unhappy expression. I don't see much in the way of problems for you. Just the facial hair and hormones thing. Some make-up would really up the pizazz, too.

Without the beard shadow, you look fairly feminine-androgynous.

Lol I know, Bad expression.
Mostly just tired, suffering a bit of insomnia tonight.

I was considering taking a picture more femmed up, but wanted an honest opinion of where I stand.

The facial hair is definitely something I plan on starting the removal of very quickly.

Thank you for your response.

I'm less of an insomniac and more of an anxious, nervous wreck. Only at night, of course, because of the extra dose of paranoia and morbidity it gives.

Therefore, I naturally lean towards being nocturnal. However, because being nocturnal is totally impractical, I continually try to get onto a diurnal schedule. So the result is that some nights I sleep, some I don't, either way I need to be totally exhausted in order to do so.

But yes, you'll do fine. Looking forward to those new pictures. :P
