Hello, I'm Bree, This is my first visit to the forum. I'm a 52 y/o male to female transgender. I came out publically a little over a year ago. On the 17th of May of last year I legally changed my name from Bryan to Bree Anne. That was big step and quite a bit of paperwork since! I started hormones in June 2011. I came out little by little over the past 10 years to get to where I am now. There's still new things I'm learning every day. Fortunately I have a few good friends and my Mom who've been very understanding and supportive. I'm here to learn more about myself and others dealing with the same issues. I've not really done very much on the internet, so this is all new to me also as far as blogging and posting. I look forward to being a part of the community, Love, Bree :)
Peace & Love, Bree  :)

Hi Bree, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 9575  strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

Happy New Year to you and welcome. I'm a latecomer also, having come out at age 56.
I'm 64 now and have never been happier. Congratulations on your transitioning.

Hi Bree,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

Good to hear you are taking this all in your stride. After all,it's not something you can take on board one Sunday afternoon.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine
