Dylan - You pass in the first photograph, but not so sure about the second one, probably just the angle.  The photo of you with shorter hair does look better, but you're in a very masculine position as well, which does help, whereas we can't see your posture and clothes etc in the first two.  At the end of the day it's your hair though, and I could imagine you passing pretty well in real life with your hair either way.

Jared - I'd say that the die earring doesn't help, mostly because I've never seen men wearing dice, but also because second piercings aren't that common in men.  I like the other two though, would get some if my holes hadn't closed up from my botched attempt at stretching them...

I was saying that he passed in the first and last picture, but the middle one doesn't look as male to me because of the angle.

When you zoom in on the earrings, it's clear that they aren't feminine in style. The problem may be that it's not the design of the earrings, bur rather how the earrings contribute to the framing or highlighting of you facial features. I wore black cuff style earrings, made for men, but I realized that on me, they feminized my face, so I took them out and it's been better. Will probably put them back in once T has had a chance to work its magic.

Yeah, I only wear them at night right now so they won't close up, and when T really kicks in I put them back.

Casey, your face looks so significantly different from when we first started talking. I think your face actually passes, as far as these pictures go. It could be your body that's getting you misgendered, because I don't see how someone would call you "she" so consistently based off of your visage.

I know Right?! I keep telling him he passes. Even my family think he passes.
But, he can a bit stubborn/slow/dense at times.

You pass to me as well, especially in the top one, possibly because of the glasses.  I know photos are a bit different to real life, but it shouldn't be long before you feel more confident in your ability to been seen as who you are.

Thanks those who have responded. I think this probably means I can write off my facial features as the cause of not passing. I've shown a few members videos of me through PM and they feel I pass visually as well, so there must be something else going on that I can't pinpoint. Because while my voice is still fairly high, I do get misgendered on sight.
