Hi There! Well I'm clearly a newbie here... *awkward smile* I'm very shy but here goes nothing!

I'm Cade and I'm a FtM. I accepted that I'm transgender around September 2012, though I admit I knew something was going on with me a lot earlier. I'm going through a tough patch right now seeing as I'm still in the closet to my family (aside from my mother, who isn't very supportive) but very open to people I meet.
I am totally in love with art (like drawing and painting), reading, writing... I'm also sort of obsessed with zombies lol
I've browsed around the site for awhile and it seems like a very friendly place so I decide to get up and join.
Anyways, I really hope to make a few friends here and maybe get a little support :)

Well Hi there !! I am FTM as well. c:
My parents aren't very supportive of me either,  but that just makes it so much more special when you do find support.
I love drawing too, I used to have an account on a few art websites, but I got too popular there and left. I'd love to share drawings with you sometime. c: I'm super shy too, don't worry.
Looking forward to being your friend, Cade.

Hi Cade, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 9692 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother.

Hi Cade,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

Admitting to yourself who you really are, is the hardest thing to do. Everything else is comparatively easy. Take it easy on yourself and be gentle. Lots of people won't or can't understand what you are feeling. Check out your school/ college counsellor and see if they can help you with a gender therapist. They can often even out the rough bits.

And stop looking round this site at 3:00am Ozzie time, when I should be in bed, instead of looking and feeling like a zombie.

Keep close to your interests; drawing, painting, reading and writing. They are very helpful ways of expressing yourself.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine
