Hi Shelby,

You look both at the very beginning *and* very nice. You have a very nice, feminine starting point.

I personally think there is absolutely nothing wrong with your chin: it looks nice, soft and feminine.

Laser off the five o'clock shadow and you are two thirds there. Get your eyebrows done and you are 100% there.

You are so naturally pretty that after those two things are done, you won't even need make-up. Honest.

My avatar picture is four months ago pre-everything, and no make-up: as you can see my chin is way worse than yours.

You are lucky: you are off to a very good starting point.

Good luck,
Andrea

I'm just starting off, trying to learn as much as I can.  I know the eyebrows are an obstacle I need to tackle  :-\

If you start plucking or better yet get them professionally done, you'll see a huge difference. You have nice features, you're going to look great.
All the advice I got on here has been great. If you're doing something wrong, people will tell you. I've made some makeup and fashion mistakes and learned from them by posting here. Welcome!

Would love some comments as to my pass-ability down the line. This pic is me now, pre everything, with a minimum of make-up, just a eye liner, shadow, little mascara. And oh yeah, my facial hair sucks. I can't get rid of the shadow entirely because my skin is too soft for razors against the grain, I just end up drawing blood. 2nd laser session in a week yay!

I couldn't figure out how to use an attachment on here, so if you guys can tell from my profile picture that would be awesome or tell me how to add an attachment haha. Thank you and any advice would be great as well as feedback whether I pass!

So. Here I am again  ::).

This one was taken before leaving for work.

I have done nothing before taking these pics.

Is there any hope for me? I dont understand what more hrt can do for me regarding my face. I have a very masculine face for being on hrt for almost 9 months I think :S.

I really think something as simple as waiting for your hair to grow longer will have a dramatic effect on your face.

And are you out at work?  I don't know if the last pic is supposed to be guy mode, but it does look very androgynous to me at the moment, if it's supposed to be.  Lookin' good 'Starbuck!'  ;)

@Carolina
There is a lot of hope for you: especially in the work pic, believe it or not, I see a typical Swedish woman.

Why do you have doubts? Of course, do get rid of your facial hair, but that's about it.

The company that I work for knows, I have told them. But not all the other pilots know about me.

I am not really sure when to tell the rest. I was thinking that it would work out for another year before coming out to all of them.

Regarding the last picture yes it is me in boymode, I even let my facial hair grow just to erase any strange looks from the security people etc.

My facial hair bugs me yes =/. And its even just about 30%left from what I had before :O, I had a very thick beard :(. I hope to get rid of the shadow before next winter.

I have doubts because I know that I have some very masculine markers like my damn nose inherited from my mother =/, also my browridge needs to go. But I was hoping to get away with just those procedures and now it feels like that wont be enough?

Oooops I forgot to add a picture of me in girliemode or what to call it? at least its a try :P.

Once again, I strongly believe it is all in your head, Carolina, I don't think any of your features are particularly masculine. You do look very Swedish, but that's not bad, right?

You have very nice skin and hair.

Chin up, girl, you are almost there!! :-)

Well, I tried a couple times to insert a photobucket link and it didn't post.   ???   How do I make a link post to this forum?
Wanted to show what kind of face I have to work with before going offline again.

On photobucket there should be a box to the right of the picture you are looking at called "image links" with 4 options.

The bottom one is called "IMG Code" if you copy paste that line here it will post a picture. With the link and IMG tags for you.

---

Or you can right click on a picture and choose "copy link location". Pasting that here will put a link we can follow or you can put the image tags in yourself around it. Image tags look like this:

[*IMG*] THE LINK TO PICTURE [*/IMG*]

Without the asterixs.

I have the same problem: just post it in your avatar, like I did. People can make it bigger any way. :-) Can you comment on my face?

Andrea :-)

You have a long way to go and being 6'5" is a major hurdle . Nonetheless, you can do it.

There are a lot of tall women.

I know because I had a womens Basketball team come to my work and they were all much bigger and taller than me and i'm 5'9"

Well now I just see a pretty girl here!  Though I hear you when it comes to some of the masculine features.  I have my family's trademark nose...not exactly feminine (hard to see in my avatar).  Not sure if this helps you, but I try to spin situations like that to take pride in family features; when I look to my sister, she's beautiful with the same family trait.

It's so easy to be self-conscious of being tall- like MaidOfOrleans, I'm 5'9", and taller than the 5 guys I live with.  But then I remember one of my coworkers is 6'3" (with a brow-ridge), used to be a model, and is a total knockout.  Just try not to fixate on a little thing like that.  8)
