So I would like some advice.
I desperately want to transition, but I know with the situation I'm in right now, that would be impossible. So my short term goal is to appear more masculine, I really want to grow some facial hair. c:
I can't afford any testosterone, sadly. But I want to know what I can I can do right now. Like, are there certain foods I can eat? Anything to make me appear more masculine and hopefully even grow some facial hair :'D
Any advice is greatly appreciated.

I don't think there is really anything you can eat or take that I could recommend as being safe. If it's too eat you'd probably need to kill yourself with it. You can work out. Esp if you are younger than say 35, you can build muscle working out and that would give you broader hips and so on. There are plans to do that, to help ftms. I'm sure someone else will come up with that.

I don't know what you can do with dress. Buying clothes in a thrift store is good and cheap and for like $25 you can buy several different shirts and pants.

You could maybe get your hair cut. Don't get a buzz as it almost always looks more "butch" (nothing wrong with this except it is not who you are).

Hudson has some great advice here:

A lot of young guys are able to pass pre-T, I am not but I am a lot older and no longer can look like a younger guy. Facial hair isn't needed really.

sorry i had to honestly chime in, yes there are certain foods you can eat and certain vitamins you can take to make you appear more male, i have i transitioned 10 years ago and am just now becoming who i want to be in the end of my life, i am 21, i do have pcos but i have not let that hold me back,

if you take zinc 3 times a day with each meal that will help greatly, plenty of greens like string beans, spinach, broccoli, things like that will definitely help you not only in losing weight but also increasing your t levels which make you appear more male

PCOs actually can increase your T level naturally. I don't think any of this diet stuff is proven.
There are people who are trans and are vegan, probably eat tons of tofu, which is very high in plant E. The thing is plant E and E in the system are different.

But a good diet will help you generally.

Alright. c:
Thanks everyone.

wheat thins are delicious

A strong workout regimen as well as a change in diet can help in making you look more masculine but it's not a guarantee that people will read you as male.

dress as a male. black t's can hide your top loose fitted jeans and light weight shoes. The shoes can help you run and also make yo feel lighter...there also good workout shoes

If you want to start eating like one also have a good workout routine also

My understanding is that good quality protein helps you build muscle (that's if you are exercising), no guarantees of course.

whole chicken, fish caught fresh from the sea, unprocessed foods, basically nothing that comes in a pre-package from a food factory....basically
