Something I've noticed, since I began looking at transwomen photos, is that I see male features in the faces of genetic women.

I don't think that even 1/10th of the women I look at are actually biological males on HRT. But they have weird hairlines (Not male hairlines, but still), they have masculinity in their jaws, or chins, or cheeks. People are flawed.

While I was fussing about something, a female friend, who I intend to come out to in the near future told me "Don't be perfect."

Edit: Also I'm really kicking myself that I discovered my transgender leanings when i was 18 but because of my fear of my mother did nothing about it. I think I'm going to tell her this month, she's been out of town for most of the year.

BINGO! Perfection is unattainable and when sought after only leads to disappointment. You have a good friend and a good head on your shoulders. :)

I really like the girly going out picture, probably because I'm kind of "girly" myself :-).
You look real good, an Italian beauty :-); hope I'm not mixing up ethnic background!!
The funny thing is the tattoos look really good on you. You pull it off.
Because I have a more classical look, not sure I could pull that off.

You had a boyish face in your pre-HRT persona (even in army suit, you see that); that helps a lot with HRT.
Your face hasn't changed much from early puberty (which obviously helps A LOT) in passing.

you are very correct about the ethnicity. :) Hence the big nose and generous amounts of thick hair.

My daughter will be here next month for annual two-week visit. I will have lots of photos to show off then :)

I have a question about facial hair. I know that for some people HRT doesn't help at all, while for others it slows things down. Yes, everyone's different, but I'm wondering if anyone has a ballpark estimate about how much it may slow down for a 21 year old. Thanks!

It should help in preventing anything that isn't coarse already from coarsening which will make electro easier and less time-consuming. But whatever is coarse now will remain coarse until it's gone.

But lots of non-trans women get electro as well for coarse hair on the chin and lips, and sometimes even on the cheeks.
