Alright I found a way to get a link of the picture larger and hopefully clear enough. What do you think so far? This isn't very far into hormones. Thank you for anything advice or criticism and I know the picture isn't great because I took it with my webcam haha.

You already pass better than a lot of girl that have been on HRT for years. You will do wonderful with HRT.  :-)

Forgive me for asking, but are you wearing a wig?
  •

EmmaS

Yes I am and I know it's a terrible one :(, it's the best I have until my hair gets longer and I didn't really know what else I could do.

That's understandable. I almost think you would pass more without the wig, though. :P

Yeah I figured that much, but I am just doing my best with what I have, plus I've gotten a lot better with makeup since I took this photo, hopefully it's not too obvious that I was born male =/

I'm in the same situation, it sucks :(

But I think you are quite passable already, nothing stands out as too masculine to me.

I have posted on this thread when I first joined in makeup and a wig and got pretty good feedback (thanks). I would now like your honest opinions on what you think makes my face masculine please?

I haven't come out except on Susan's, but if you read my post on the introductions thread, I have finally come to terms with who I am and am at the "nothin's gonna stop me from achieving this/time to start planning stage".

Harsh but constructive as needed please peeps, I am pretty level headed and I need the truth so I can plan HRT, FFS etc!

Hi Bex!

I think you should be fine once you begin hrt and electrolysis/ laser. You don't have any harsh features, and I don't see anything in your profile that screams 'male,' except maybe your hairline.

I think you'll do well, and you clean up nicely (from what I've seen in your older posts).  :)

Yeps!

2 pics in girl mode on  ^-^. Pre-everything, 28 years old. A bit of make up there; the lighting of my room + the crappy camera of my phone don't help very much.

Maybe in these pics you can get a better idea! :-)

Your pics make me think of Dil from the crying game.

You look great.

Bex: I don't think you'll need FFS. You've got quite a feminine face already. Hair's your challenge -- your beard and the thick hairs at the back of your neck give you away.

I think I'm trying to a "worst quality picture" award of some kind here. The only camera I got is a crappy webcam, which I need to hold in my hand, and very still to take a not blurry picture with a amazing 640x480 resolution. So I can't even take a blooming full body picture which is sad because I really like the way me body looks. Anyho, been on HRT for 7 or 8 months now, been noticing major differences in the rest of my body, but I have no idea about me face. I got the problem that whenever I look at myself in the mirror I see myself, me, Sarah, this is the way I look, only I never been able to decide if I look male, female, androgyne, whatever.

Lord, I'm alot more nervous then I thought I would be about this. I don't like me hair and want to do something about it, only I haven't decided on what.

So, the big question of the thread; could I pass one day?

/S

Never saw the movie! I'll put it on the list :-)

Thanks for the compliment :-)

I haven't seen it either just pics and clips. Keep meaning to pick it up myself.

Your welcome  :)

This is how I look after 6 months of HRT, still living in "boy mode." I'm optimistic :)

I think Your face looks good! But you should start growing out your hair soon and some facial hair removal. but other than that I think you should do just fine.

Immature question I know......I'm 42 MTF and trying to decide if I should start hormones and transition. I am financially OK and have a supportive wife. BUT, I'm 6'0" tall and large frame, size 12 mens shoes size.......you get the point.

I there anyone out there that has also been a "Big Girl" and transitioned successfully???  I don't know if transitioning and feeling like an odd looking outcast would be less painful than living with GID as an OK looking guy.  Dont get me wrong, I hate looking like a man but at least now I don't fight with social acceptance right now as the world leaves me alone living as a man currently.

Help.
Just trying to find comfort in this "shell" that doesn't fit.  But I am "remodeling" the shell finally!

I'm still in the midst of transition, 6'2" with size 12 shoe and started to seriously undertake transitioning about 5yrs ago and I get a mixture of reactions from various people

Some are accepting, others are not, some are confused and some don't even question

Sometimes folks make comments... Amazon woman, Viking woman, big lady, Tall drink of water etc. Sometimes folks make various rude comments as well but I try to not let it bother me

It may not be a walk in the park but it is possible  :)

A tall statuesque Gisele Bündchen type of beauty right Virginia? There are a good number of tall women here at Susan's place, there's nothing unusual about it.
