Quote from: MadelineB on January 20, 2013, 10:00:09 PMVery very normal part of every girl's life! We just go through it a little later than other girls, but we catch up fast. I love how easy it is to cry and to laugh. The emotional liability doesn't go away either -- it is a wonderful part of being a woman -- we just develop better control over how we express it as we mature in our womanhood..

I love how easy it is to cry and to laugh.I wasn't as surprised as some by the emotional highs/lows/outbursts/sunbursts because I grew up with three sisters - who all went through this big time as they progressed through puberty. The uncontrollable giggling and sudden tearbursts are natural and healthy. The emotional lability doesn't go away either -- it is a wonderful part of being a woman -- we just develop better control over how we express it as we mature in our womanhood. Practice makes perfect.
Quote from: Zythyra on January 19, 2013, 10:37:57 AMI've been on HRT for almost two months. I knew about the possibility of uncontrollable crying, no surprise, that has happened often in the last month. I'm also finding that I'll sometimes start giggling/laughing uncontrollably and can't stop. Or start laughing and crying simultaneously and not able to stopI welcome the emotional changes of E, however it has occasionally been somewhat embarrassing when this happens in public. Any one else experience this? Or is it just me? Z
