I'm supposed to skip a shot the second week just to make sure nothing crazy happens, so my next one won't be until the 15th. It seems like there are a lot of different ways that the doctors go about doing this.

I am starting out on almost twice as much T as my boyfriend is taking, which is interesting in itself. He went to a naturopathic clinic, so he's on something different than I am... and then he opted not to up the dose when she offered to let him, because it's easier on the voice (and his main concern w/ T was losing his ability to sing). His doctor also didn't mention anything at all about pap-smears to him. D:
Funny story; I put in my prescription at the Walgreens down the street rather than ordering from Strohecker's, just because it was 20 minutes versus a day or so and I'm impatient. For the record, I think I'll go with Strohecker's next time, because it's almost half the price. ): but anyway, I went in to pick it up and I imagine the people in Walgreens are not quite as used to dealing with testosterone as Strohecker's... one of the women there had to talk to another about needles and syringes (which they made me pay for separately, despite it being included in my prescription

) and I heard her say,
"What size syringe should... she? use for her testosterone...?"
lol. :'D no offense because I'm not passing very well, it just made me giggle. Then the other woman came over with the syringes and whatnot, and explained, fairly loudly, that "the nature of this medicine causes aggression, so you should let the people around you know"...
Even if it does cause a little aggression, which I'm not totally sure it does after reading as much as I have, I went through the process of getting it prescribed to me, lady, so you can assume I know what I'm getting into.
