A very warm hello to everyone here. I have been realizing from the past few years that my inner sense of gender is very different from all other people who are also born male.

For a while I have been alternating between thinking that I am non-binary to thinking I am transgendered. At this point I honestly do not know, but I do know that I have to do something to manage my gender dysphoria.

I have started taking some non medical steps with my appearance, clothes, etc. Will soon also investigate medical options.

Just wanted to say hello to all you wonderful people. Have a great day !

Hi dreameragi,

A big Aussie welcome to Susan's family. It's good of you to drop in and say "Hi". Hope you like it here, and you stay for a while.

There is a mountain of information, resources and friendship waiting for you here, you just need to jump in start talking and ask any question you like. You're quite safe here and we are very accepting.

Most of us start out exactly the way you have. So it's good to see nothing has changed. As you've thinking of medical intervention, always a good start to find a gender therapist who can help you define your boundaries. You'll need one if you're thinking of anything more serious in the medical options in any case.

Looking forward to hearing more of your story in time to come, but in the meantime, be safe, well and happy.

Lotsa huggs
Catherine

Welcome to our little family. Over 9685 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister.

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

It does not take courage or bravery to change your gender.  It takes fear of living one more day in the wrong one.~me

Hello dreamer!  Welcome, from southern California.

You said, "I have been realizing from the past few years that my inner sense of gender is very different from all other people who are also born male. "

Perhaps in your experience that may be true, but our membership of MAAB (male assigned at birth) persons might disagree.  ;)

Join in the discussion.  Glad you found us.

Hello, Thanks to everyone who replied to my first introduction. I posted that and got caught in some really terrible (depression) times. Back here again. I just posted another introduction, so I can be more active in the community. Also sorry for not replying to this thread earlier.
