Agreed, Murphy is very nice. My favorite out of the SH series has to be James Sunderland though.
All-time favorite is definitely Yoshi.
Recent favorite just for all-around awesomeness is Cole Phelps from L.A. Noire.

I don't think Fenris is a jerk at all. If you be kind to him, he opens up into this lovely, passionate person, despite his past damage. He's not perfect, he has moments of rage and judgement, but he can always be talked round, and there is a real tenderness in him that seems desperate to come out.

It may be apparent that I adore him, hehe.

You probably already know, but the guy who plays Cole Phelps is in Mad Men.

Mine has to be Cloud from Final Fantasy 7, not sure why because it's a male character and I don't identify with him, but he's just so badass I think

I find him cool, but a tad too angsty. I much prefer Auron from FFX, he's badass, but in a quiet, noble way .

I liked FFX as well, but Auron was too quiet, I like the arrogance I guess Plus, it's hard to top the scene of Aeris dying

Cloud a good choice but a badass no! That honor goes to Sephiroth one of the best video game villains of all time. But I was always partial to Tifa as far as favorite of 7's character's goes.

Yuna in FFX, not FFX-2! She is cool calm and collected but still human. Plus white magic user ftw! Rikku was always a bit too sickly sweet for me lol.

My first favourite was the girl, Julie, from "Zombies" (on sega mega drive) in the pink jacket, no idea why but she was the first girl character that I wanted to play as rather than the boy.

Guybrush is brilliant, the best game expression of a guy who is accidentally heroic. I love him .

I have massive crushes on Ezio Auditore, Corvo Attano, and Auron. I do seem to love my strong, silent types, lol.

Pirate Captain : "Do you have any special skills?"
Guybrush : "I can hold my breath for 10 minutes!"

As games go that changed my life, that is high on the list. Well, at least shaped my sense of humour!
