Welcome Fernando, I'm new here as well , so as a couple of "guys", perhaps we can share some bonding. But having been in your mom's position, I've got to warn ya that just because she's in menopause, doesn't mean she can't still love you for who you are, and respect your choices.
In my experience with people coming out to family, I've *generally* found female family members easier to talk to than males - though your milage may certainly differ - it's a real one-on-one thing.
But just because she's going through a natural stage of female life, isn't an excuse for either her (for not accepting you), or
you for not telling her!

You certainly know your family and it's members better than anyone, so do whatever is appropriate, but don't let concerns about things like menopause make you not share this important aspect of your life with her.

My father knows about me being gay, but my mother is still left in the dark. She is going through menopause, so I think it will devistate her
. My parents do not know about me being genderqueer..
I look forward to talking to all of you.
