Nero,
Thanks for asking this question -- your list & the replies
remind me of many things I may have not appreciated
as much as I could!
Since I live most of my public life in the male role, I am
amazed every time in the female role that I almost always
feel more self-confident than in the male. The first time
I was dressed in the presence of other M2F's, I found
myself immediately more outgoing and able to play a
supportive role for those who seemed to be less confi-
dent. This was at a group meeting, and as soon as I
stepped out of the changing room, I could have been
singing the words of John Denver (but with female pro-
nouns and at the age of 40), "He was born in the summer
of his twenty-second year, comin' home to a place he'd
never been before." And even tho I had planned to
change clothes again before leaving, I was feeling so
good that I knew that changing would make me de-
pressed, so I drove home
en femme -- and what a
w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l feeling that was (after I kicked off
my heels so I could drive safely, that is)!!!
Thanks to all,

Sandra
