One person in my last job would do this & if you took a step back he's take a step towards you, i'm sure he'd stand closer if his gut wasn't so big.

I had a commander in the Military that was like this. One time he was talking with me in a facility I ran. Every time I stepped back, he stepped forward. Eventually we were outside. He stopped talking, and asked me why we were outside. I told him it was because he needs to learn the value of personal space. He laughed and from then on always kept an arms length between us.

When people use improper and sometimes imaginary units of length or don't give me specific directions.

"It's in Canarsie." --> Boy, I don't know every neighborhood like the back of my hand. Give me an actual address so I can use my flingin' flangin' map!

"It's about two hours from here." --> Two hours by what? Plane, car, bike? And by what model? Fighter plane, passenger plane, stunt plane, motor bike, bicycle with a misshapen person riding it or Lance Armstrong on the seat? Get your units right, people!  >:(

"It's a hop and a skip that way." --> Yes... and so's my foot from your balls.  :icon_chainsaw:

I know, right? Sometimes they say it's a hop and a skip that way, but then you find out that it's actually a hop, skip and a jump that way  ::)
What's with people?

Superficial fanny kissing friends are a dime a dozen, a TRUE FRIEND however is PRICELESS

Ok, when teachers decide to gang up on you and all give tests on the same day.  >:(

When people are bad at basic math. 2.56 + 4.37 isn't that hard. 6.93. You shouldn't need a calculator for it...

1. People who walk slowly on the stairs or on the streets.

2. People who jay-walk SLOWLY when it's not their light, and then have the audacity to yell at me when I almost hit them with my bike.

c. Algebra. Seriously, mixing numbers and letters? C'mon!  :P

Busses are really starting to make me angry lately.

I'm late to college almost every day, it doesn't seem to matter how early I leave the house. It seems the earlier I leave, the later the buses will be running. It drives me completely insane that the journey time listed on the timetables say it should take me 50 minutes to get from my house to college.

Yet most days I leave around 7.15am and don't get there until 9:15am

It bugs me even more that on all the busses there's a big sign saying something like "we take pride in running on time, 95% of our buses arrive on time - no more than 1 minute early or 5 minutes late"

My arse they do, I documented the times for a couple of weeks once and then sent in a letter of complaint with the times the buses ACTUALLY arrive. Heard nothing back. To add insult to injury the prices keep getting put up.

I'm horrible at even basic math, even worse if I have to count while someone's watching. It sucks.

My personal pet peeve is people who can't drive, like refuse to use their blinker or just generally refusing to SHARE the road.

BUT, my biggest pet peeve is plagiarism!

If I did, I'm sorry, didn't know that. It does remind me, the other day I was helping a friend with writer's block and wrote the plot and a paragraph for them and then screamed plagiarist at them. lol.

Hm, pet peeves...people acting like any music outside their preferred genre is automatically the crappiest music possible. (See Youtube, any music video.) Also followed by screaming bloody murder if you insult their brand of music.
