I took this picture for the "no makeup" thread. There is a little mascara that didn't wash off properly but other than that, this is me one month out from 2 years of hrt. Do I pass?

Yes you pass 100 percent and look natal plus you're pretty pretty.

Maidoforleans looking good as usual love the smile in the top picture. Congratulations on the new place! :)

Thanks and yes, after my first night I can proudly say that words cannot describe how awesome being able to walk around naked is.

Totally worth it.
"For transpeople, using the right pronoun is NOT simply a 'political correctness' issue. It's core to the entire struggle transpeople go through. Using the wrong pronoun means 'I don't recognize you as who you are.' It means 'I think you're confused, delusional, or mentally I'll.'. It means 'you're not important enough for me to acknowledge your struggle.'"

This is me currently. No makeup, bad hair, about to go night night.

I have a feeling i'm about at the point where i'm looking more girl than guy and passing in boy mode will be tough. I'm already starting to get the weird looks.

by the way my room is bare because i'm moving to a place of my own tomorrow!!!  ;D

Yup the line is most definately crossed, your are now in total girl zone!
Gratz to you missy, you are lookin awesome :)

This one was barely manipulated except for the frame and filter.

Gonna be honest with you, your hair, your face look great.  But that lipstick color is working against you.  Try au natural with your lips! or a deeper less vibrant red(darker).

You definitely pass in my eyes though.

I can't really help that right now as I need the computer generated wig and I'm too scared to buy lipstick (though it does look garish, ew now that i think more about it) but the rest really is all me, specifically the eyes and skin and face.

Just order that stuff online and don't worry about it so much lol. Lipsticks and lip gloss stuff is awesome.

Do I pass?  This isn't the best picture but probably representative - sometimes I think I look better sometimes worse.

Thanks
Lori

I always wanted to be someone.  Now I am someone.  It just isn't me.

very garish the lip color, you can grow your hair out to that (if you have) or buy a beautiful natural wig.  Even through the manipulation if so be it, you are quite passable when wearing a hair style similar to that.

The first thing I did in  my transition process was go to wig stores (my hair eventually grew out ) and try them on.  If your scared pretend your going to an event and you wanna be goofy or something.  Seeing myself in longer hair, it gave me a boost of confidence (of course I never bought any, Sorry wig shop!!!).

As for lipstick, well you cant do everything in one day or night, took me a long time to feel comfortable in the womans clothing isle.  Its just whats ingrained into our brains from birth.  Deep breaths, don't be afraid to run away, but one day you might just suck it up and drive right through it.  Going with a friend helps to.

I find buying stuff online to be too impersonal, and especially for lip color its something you want to try on in the story to figure out whats right for you.
