I told my friend that I identify as male, and I was so scared that he would freak out on me (we've been intimate in a sexual way before, although we've not been in a relationship together), but his response was just amazing. I'm so happy, because I came out to a female friend previously, and although she accepted me her behaviour shows that she still doesn't see me as male and she seems to think it's something amusing, which was upsetting. It's really nice that someone accepts me properly and without question.
