Muscular arms, and how can I get rid of them?

Hello, everyone!

Okay, so I've been on HRT for about ten days now, and I have a question about what happens to the muscles. I only weigh 107 lbs, and am just 5' 2" tall, but my arms are so freaking bulky. I don't even have to flex them, and the muscles on my shoulders, upper back, and biceps just stick out in big hard masses of muscle. I don't know how they get like that, I don't even work out apart from riding my bike everywhere I go, and that shouldn't do anything to my arms.

Could it be my diet? I eat mostly breads, pasta, cereals, and peanut butter covered things. Then second to most often I usually eat processed meat and dairy products. Should I change my diet to be predominately vegetarian? Should I eat less? Will that help my arms slim down and look more feminine? Again, I'm really small, so I don't understand how I can have such big arms but weigh so little.

And how much has HRT helped your arms to look more feminine? Does it do anything significant to your muscles, or will I need to do something to my diet and exercise in order to change it?

I really want to be able to wear sleeveless clothing and not look like a body builder! Please respond!

Note:  I'm not on hormones, so I have no personal experience.

I've heard that HRT makes it harder to maintain muscle mass in the MTF case, so it should *eventually* help.  I don't expect lots to change in just 10 days, give the hormones some time to work their magic :).

Of course I'm sane.  When trees start talking to me, I don't talk back.

It took about a year for all the muscle to look female in bulk for me. Now I seem to get the most positive attention from men if I'm wearing a tank top.

Give it time on HRT.

The muscles will melt away into fat at which point you will want to do toning exercises to tone the area out so it doesn't look like a flabby blob.
"For transpeople, using the right pronoun is NOT simply a 'political correctness' issue. It's core to the entire struggle transpeople go through. Using the wrong pronoun means 'I don't recognize you as who you are.' It means 'I think you're confused, delusional, or mentally I'll.'. It means 'you're not important enough for me to acknowledge your struggle.'"

Thanks everyone. I know ten days isn't long enough for anything to happen, I just wanted to make sure that my arms would change further down the line.

(I did however notice that my nose doesn't seem so oily anymore)

Dry skin is a good sign that your T is being blocked. I saw a significant reduction in strength about a month in, followed by a sharp drop in muscle mass a month later, but I was still pretty bulky until about the 1 year mark. Now I am totally comfortable wearing things that show off my shoulders.
