I am new here, just found this site, so let me introduce myself. I am Bobbi, I have always consideried myself to be TG- I am 62 years and have lived as a woman for the last 28 years. I have wanted to persue SRS for most of that time but the money was always an issue, Now that I am retired I have almost enough money saved for the surgery, but the referals that the Doctors want will take even more money and time. So I guess I will just have to stay the way that I am, and enjoy the company that these boards have to offer.

Welcome Bobbi, I know you will enjoy yourself here.

Your never too old to have surgery, don't give up, unless it is what you want.

Welcome, Bobbi.

I have known several people in their 70s who have had SRS.  I was 63.

Having been living as female for 28 years, I would think any gender counselor would breeze you through to your letters.  Also, the Thai surgeons are reportedly not as strict on referrals as Western surgeons.

Our Links area has links to many surgeons.  Take a look.  https://www.susans.org/Sex_Reassignment_Surgery/MTF_Surgeons/
