The few dresses that I really like and will be buying these.

I actually love all the Desigual designs: http://www.desigual.com/en_GB

They are nice! I could go for those two tops on this last link, they fit my style!

Ah, I don't have much fashion sense, and I haven't found any nice clothes my size, so for men's clothes I've mostly just been wearing t-shirts and jeans.

However, here's the latest FTM casual wear (that Em so kindly made into a shirt at my request: http://skreened.com/gyrlsandbois/hen-to-rooster)

And, here's more clothes that I'd wear in public outside of Pride Fest  :P

Any fashion tips on men's clothes is appreciated.  :)

Edit: to fix photos

LH,

I think you look great...to be honest I think guys look hotter when they're going for casual. If you begin wearingmen's attire, think sliimed leg dress pants and just regular button up dress shirt with the first couple of buttons undone around the collar...that's always a good look . I'm not huge on seeing jackets on men, especially since you have a younger look. For casual, tshirt and baggier jeans are always cute, but I love guys in regular hooded sweatshirts...not overly baggy. But you've been working out too, so before you know it, you're going to be rockin muscle tees! :)

Thanks Albina! Now I just have to find shoes...too bad I don't have you here to shop with! Although we'd end up spending entirely too much money :)

@Lara1969.......you look great! That outfit is very flattering and you are definitely rocking it:)

@Henna.....nice outfits, I'm sure they'll look amazing on you.

Albina......this is such a FUN thread:) I am so glad you put this up!

Henna,
Please, don't hesitate to show us your pics when you receive your new attires. They really look amazing, like my friend Spring said.

Spring,
I guess we would have made a perfect company for go-together shopping, and yeah, spending money. But what otherwise we live for, if not making ourselves happy at some times. Please, show off your new shoes whenever you get them.
And thank you for sharing my interests, or I would be bored to read just problems threads here.

Hey Spring!

Unfortunately it is just snowing here in Berlin (Germany) but nethertheless I decided to dress up for going out. I love to dress up, sometimes the look may be a little too girly for my age but I like this style:

Lara

Very fashionable Lara, you look really nice and I like that skirt, very pretty with those nice long legs!

Albina, the suit looks quite nice. I don't know any Italian suit places nearby that I can currently afford, though I am going to try to save up to get some nicer looking outfits like that and maybe try Men's Wearhouse.
Lara you look really cute, and you definitely got the stand in those heels down  :) (and it's snowing here too! So much for the start of spring lol)

Stephanie, those dresses are cute and you'll look really good in those. I love Ann Taylor for girls clothes, it's one of the few stores that carries good petite sizes.

You are dressed much like me in my daily uniform which usually consists of skinny jeans, Rhonda Shear wireless racerback to minimize the pointiness and jiggles, black or dark crew neck T shirt, zip front hooded sweat shirt or vest, baseball cap and athletic shoes. A lot of women dress the same way locally for just hanging out.

Learned, you might add a sport jacket or two to your wardrobe, if you are on the petite side check out the boys department for fit. It seems that most men's and boy's jeans are cut low-rise and sometimes don't do a person any justice through the pelvic area and a little fattiness can squish over the tops. You don't appear to have that problem, but I find that Lee Jeans are cut with a higher rise, I like the top button at my navel and hate the (jeans hanging off my ass look.)

Shantel, the sports coat is a great idea! I didn't think of that.... my I have seen quite a few guys wearing jeans and sport coats. (And I do have the muffin top problem with women's pants, I feel so skinny shopping in the mens/boys department  :D )

Lol, I wish I read this before hitting  up H&M today.

This is what I bought (along with two female dress shirts for work, one's a light pin stripped blue, another is light pin stripped pink), I really like the gray shirt, the green in okay, but I think I can get away wearing the green in female mode on our ultra casual days at work:

I'm not buying into the muffin top theory of yours my friend, no way! You look trim and fit to me. The shirts are cool but one thing that my spouse pointed out to me back when I was self consciously trying to conceal the boobies is that button breast pockets accentuates that which you are trying to hide, just thought I'd pass that on.

I'm always getting lessons from her on how to dress, like if you have a big butt you don't want button down back pockets and/or a lot of glitter designs on the seat of your jeans to draw attention to the problem areas, or wide belts with big buckles if you are thick waisted. It's all about camouflaging those places you don't want to show off to make a negative statement. It goes for both boys and girls. BTW - Concerning sports jackets keep in mind that they come in both long and short in whatever chest size you need.

Serena,
Thank you for sharing the Pinterest site address – I enjoyed looking at both -  men's and girls' pages, which give many fresh ideas.

And I'd like to share my sister's favorite and what I myself am very much impressed with:
http://www.wolfordshop.fr/produits/boutique/looks/g500005214

My sister lives in Paris, France and usually shops in that high style fashion boutique (and where she bought that Cheetah dress that you saw on me, btw).

LearnedHand, I am so sorry I didn't recognize you at all! But you got so much changed, so manly handsome and elegant!  :D
I used to wear these kind of shirts and I liked them. BTW, they look great on you, especially the grey one. Oh my boy, I just can imagine how gorgeous you would be in a good stylish suit, not necessarily Italian made, since they might be expensive enough.

I agree with auntie Shan – hers are some nice tips.

Spring, so sorry, but the link doesn't let me see your new white boots.
..Hugh? I already feel jealous about your new dresses, btw.   ;D

BTW, it is getting warm in my country -  +16-18 by Celsius, and I am already going out in my dresses! ;)

It didn't work! :( okay, changing my avatar just temporarily so you can see my boots!

Thanks auntie shan!

Spring, your photo link didn't work for me either, I wonder if I need a flickr account to see?

Albina, those are some pretty fancy looking clothes. I like how the 1920s styles (for the headgear at least) seems to be coming back. I've always liked fashion from the '20s to the '50s.

LH,
But you've been working out too, so before you know it, you're going to be rockin muscle tees! :)

With the green shirt I bought today, I originally tried on a size extra-small (didn't even know they made XS for men's) but it was too small on the shoulders, so I had to go up to a small.  ;D I do tend to be more of a casually dressed person, I'd feel silly being all dressed up just to go to my discount grocery store where most people just wear their pajamas lol. Though for more special occassions, I really like this look (which I first got into after seeing Inception and there was that one character always in the vest): http://www.menswearhouse.com/shop/p_pronto-uomo-platinum-suit-separates-vest,-black_12001_700000430_12751_700300711_-1_700000430_____default

Thanks for telling me that Shantel, I do usualy wear my shirts unbuttoned over a plain t-shirts though. Luckily, that grey shirts fits really well and doesn't cling too much around the chest (that I've noticed). I'll have to stay on the lookout for button-ups without the front pockets.

Stephanie,

You are beautiful and slim, not short at all. And the boots look fabulous and just magnify your slimness. Very good taste. So happy for you. Thank you for sharing!
..And I like the length of your hairs.  ;)

Ahaha, that would be fun indeed!
In my country, beeing a woman I have to dress up and look decent for any, no matter how small or close occasion to go out.

LearnedHand,

My computer has finally managed to open the link with a vest. I think that is a good idea. Adding the matching vest to the suit is very useful for any special occasion, as well as just for office type of work. Very classy classic style that never lose, but gain. You will be so elegant young man, drawing all the attention of girls! Believe me.  ;)

Some news for you, fashionistas!
Today I decided to go out to some of our best central women's stores to see what new clothes they might have. On visiting the first one, I was attracted by the skirts department. There, I was trying on two skirts: white and red. But after putting on the red one, the sales girl and I agreed that the red skirt fits me better. So, here it is:

Then, on visiting the second store, I saw a nice white & pink striped top, which could be perfect for my new red skirt, thus making a nice and trendy beach time collection for the summer.

Next, on visiting the third store, I already knew what I wanted there.- it is the colorful shawl for some windy or chilly evenings during this spring and summer:

And my new beach time (and not only) look is this:
