This is me pre everything except 1 laser treatment.  I'll hopefully be starting HRT this summer.  Currently seeing a therapist and moving forward :D

Wow is that your real hair? It's beautiful!

Also your face has a lovely shape to it, I think with different glasses you will pass with flying colors.

Although the filter makes it a little bit harder to tell, everything looks great from here.

Also congrats on moving forward :D

Thanks Jenny!

That is actually a wig and I freakin love it.

Are the glasses too wide do you think?  I have small ones that might help.

So I came out about 2 weeks ago, lost about 20 lbs and started growing my hair out.  I have been affectionately called a nose with sneakers. lol

can I pass one day?

Sometimes I blog things

Of course I'm sane.  When trees start talking to me, I don't talk back.

You are so not going to be staying in this thread. You will surely do very well :-) You are on the hormones already, yes? Thinning out those brows would make a good positive step! :-)

I know I need to do something about the eyebrows eventually...  no hormones yet, but I have a consultation tomorrow morning :)

Your video made me smile.  I love the wave and the grin.  And your nose is not that big a problem.  Besides, rhinoplasty is the second most common cosmetic surgical procedure.

You will want to start gradually thinning and shaping your browns from the bottom.  Another happy-looking person.  This is great.

Thanks!  I hope that translates into purty lady in the future.  :)

I haven't stopped smiling since I started being honest with myself.  Glad I can share it with someone.  I've got a long way to go.  About 30lbs of fat and man muscle, 20lbs of dark black beard, and 2 five pounders (my eyebrows).  The nose wouldn't get on my nerves if it wasn't crooked.  I was once an MMA fighter back when I was pretending (darn it).

Thanks, and next time I post, hopefully I'll have some hair and another face on top of mine.

+1 to Jamie all across the board.

Cute & happy people, what is not to love?!

If you are looking to shape eyebrows, I found this tut to be extremely helpful- it's also how I learned to do mine... gradually over time of course :)

Who would have known that eyebrow styling is so intricate and precise... sheesh.  Always good to learn new things.

Hi everyone. I am VERY new to ALL of this. Being Transgendered, the sites, and especially being on any Forums. So, do you think i would be able to pass by seeing my pics. Idk if i posted them correctly...

@GreenThumb  @Atachihoover

I see nothing in either set of photos that would be disqualifying.  If you doubt that, take a look at the "before and after" stickied topic.

With that said, there are some immediate things that are common fixes for most MtFs.  Thinning or removing facial hair.  May require laser or electrolysis.  Eyebrows can be narrowed and shaped.

Hairlines often need adjustment.

If you are considering changing bone structure through FFS, I would recommend "virtual FFS" first.  There are links in some of the topics on the FFS page.

But passing is more than how you look, though visual clues are important.  It is also how you carry yourself, how you sound, how you inflect, and how you relate with others.

At this point do not be discouraged. especially as you are pre-hrt.

Thanks Jamie, I was really nervous about posting in this thread. I've seen the before and after thread and there are some very beautiful women there, I'm hoping to be one some day. I have a lot of beard to remove first.

Mostly money and also getting through my probationary period at work. Still trying to get my finances in order after being unemployed for most of 2011 and the beginning of 2012.
