1728 was a calculation.  I went back to the original picture and counted 12 beans across and 12 beans up.  I multiplied that by 12 hoping it was 12 rows deep...

I looked at how many showed on one side and going by the width of the jar, tried to guess how many would be in it that way considering you had all around the outside and then a narrowing down to the middle. Still tough though, especially to get it exact. How far off was I on an earlier guess?  and which guess was it, lol?

Mine were all guesses but this one is a calculation: 1653?
