Would hair removal, laser or electrolysis be futile and in vain if done without hormones? I mean, if there is still a steady supply of testosterone to encourage future hair growth, would it be pointless to have electrolysis or something done?
I am on hormones and am having electrolysis done and sometimes I wonder if its futile. Its just my chin luckily, and not full goatee thick by any means, but its a pain.
Also, if I already know that my facial hair type requires electrolysis and that laser would not work on it, does that mean that laser wouldn't work on my genital hair either. I've pretty much already decided I'm not going to seek any hair removal down there prior to surgery. I just can't afford it and actually I never developed much genital hair. I stopped at tanner stage 3-4ish for male genital hair growth. But I would consider a few laser sessions if it would actually help. Any advice here? Apparently 1/3 of Dr. Bowers' patient don't have any hair removal done prior to surgery.
